If a bottle is ajar, is it still a bottle?
If I could see this animated, in a game, in action somehow. :) Really cool.

I could rebuild it as a rigged 3D model. Some day, maybe.
To always walk around with tears streaming down your face, though... what a brave face to put on constantly. No veil. The whole barrage of emotion. All day. In a way though it feels like what you showcase might become a self-fulling emotion, like how only singing depressing songs can actually make you a bit depressed... not sure if that's all true but I do know the opposite to be: positive affirmations make you positive.
You definitely managed something iconic here though, it's so easy to distinguish from everything else somehow, and emotional it most certainly is. Not bad.

I think, in a way, you're right. Depressing thoughts are, to a degree, just natural for me, having major depression and everything. But dwelling on them definitely brings me down harder. It becomes a big downward spiral that's hard to escape. It does become more of a self-fulfilling thing then.
I've been trying not to let them get to me as much. Not to care as much about negative aspects in my life and whatnot.
However, if anything, listening to depressing songs and drawing art of my depression kinda helps. Depressing songs help me feel a connection, and drawing my emotions helps me clear it off my mind and perhaps even find comfort in others who can relate to my struggles. It feels nice, ironically enough.
Anyway, thank you for the kind words. It means a lot to me. And thanks for the birthday wishes on my news post! c:
Melancholy and moonshine... it'd seem pretty peaceful too if it wasn't for that gaze. Empty. Angsty. Love the way the colors play otherwise.

Thanks! i wanted him to look like he's in a state of "Apathetic numbness." which is basically what i call being disappointed, but used to a certain scenario happening all the time AND also not caring when it does happen.
A night of light. :) I like the variation, not just purple neon but a whole cacophony of color... even if the buildings layer themselves in a way that seems more like a jumble than a real neighborhood. Also almost looks like a set of lips on her back. Not bad!

Thanks! i just thought it'd convey the idea that this city is a "modern day trash hole" (Graffiti on the roof, billboards everywhere, dirty/run down buildings) if it were more jumbled. you see, the character is supposed to be unhappy with the fact that their life choices led them to working in this city.
The wordplay's back! :D I like it. Very ambient loop too, for a while... with the constant twitches I wonder if that's coffee he's drinking hmm...

Suit design reminds me a bit of Dorothea. :) I'm really enjoying this Steampunk style, though some of the clothing materials don't seem all like clothing... beautiful work.

Thank Cyberdevil you very much for your comment.
Photo quality's kinda sketchy/blurry with this one - you got better with that it seems! Really getting creative with these sketches...
-cd-
Yeah, I really tried to get the focus right after this one, mostly because the drawings got more detailed so I didn't want the line quality to be lost ;)
The title could also play on the potential secondary aspects of insanity... cuckoo's nest, y'know? A double entendre sort of thing but with meaning rather than structure. I don't know how I'm phrasing this really but: that kid does look kinda crazy too...
Cool stuff.
-cd-
Yeah, I could've put more thought into the title, that would've been a great idea lol, but, alas.
The kid may look crazy but I'm sure he's more mentally stable than me lol. I was going for more creepy but I guess crazy works too. He does have those crazy eyes.
Epic joke? 6? Huskies? Hmmmmm I don't get it.
Props on an all but non-creative husky design though. XD Unconventional hybrids: really wake up the mind a bit. I'm picturing a flock of sparrows with sunglasses flying by the window. An oven with a hat on. A YouTube video that scrolls to the side until it pops out of the screen and just keeps moving onward towards the window... where a flock of sparrows with sunglasses fly by. Cause why not! :D There are no limits to the mind, or the world, or to what we make of it.
This simple sketch really had unexpectedly large impact on my imagination. Was about to mainly comment on the wonky tongue. Nice one. Also love the expression.

So there's a brand of trash bags called Husky, and I have a box of 'em laying around, so when I saw the theme for day 6 was Husky, I decided I would draw the box, because people would be expecting an actual husky, and then I followed it up with this, an almost-almost-actual husky. I didn't upload the box here 'cause it's not so good, though maybe I should've included it in the post anyways for context lol
