Looks badass! Must be those skulls on their heads. I'm wondering if those small sprites on the ground are a customly made mesh too or just colored in a bit differently? They're a nice reference to the original game, yet so small the main focus is always with the bigger versions. All nicely designed; full of movement. Keep it going!

CarnieVorex responds:

The sprites are from the fusion site - pokemon.alexonsager .net/ The art is based on them quite loosely, but that's a good thing in fusion art: you can give 'em features from both pokemon, while the site only changes the face and color of existing sprites.

Outcast + Outcast = Cast? The character designs are nice and simple, and the clothing texture is an interesting style addition. Not sure I like the dotted background though... but maybe that's supposed to symbolize being snowed in? Keep it going!

Thanks for the review! As for the dots, they looked better on a white background that I forgot to add.

Another great one! The foreground character especially looks very well-drawn. As for the one behind him, zoomed in the brush on eyebrows/beard/etc give away the fact that it's a photoshop, but if you hadn't said so that's not something I'd be looking for. Nice work!

Thanks man

Random portrait of a random person? This looks great, both a beautiful motive and beautiful drawing, so lifelike it may as well have been an old photo. The contours fade away nicely, though when I start looking at the top it's a bit odd the head is cut off like that. Otherwise... no flaws! Well maybe the eyes are a bit bland... or maybe they are that dark in reality? Either way that's the hardest part. Keep it going!

haha thanks :) I happen to stumble on the original picture on some wallpaper website :P

Woah, this was a nice collage, lots of sezy ladies on the forefront of what seems to be a lot of cut out colored comics? Some outlines seem a bit uneven if you zoom in, but overall it looks awesome. Great work fitting everything together!

Vidamour responds:

I appreciate your feedback...
I only used three different comics for this (Poison Ivy, Scarecrow and Harley Quinn).

Also the uneven lines you talk about are meant to be how they are, due to tearing the pages into random strips that i use to stick down for the background.

At fist, I imagined those flares of light were actually a character. The bigger one looks like a scalp, the underlying mountain at that area almost like a body, other flares as partial limbs. That impression died out rather quickly though. It's a beautiful background, detailed and serene, and the twisted angle is pretty interesting. Nice work!

ProbablySinged responds:

Thanks for the compliments!

Unfortunately I'm not quite at the level to get exactly what I wanted out of the flares, but that will come with time more than anything else.

Hmm, somehow all this makes me think of is the breast cancer awareness ribbons. :P It's an interesting motive though, a pair of shoes coming to life like this. Nice work!

TheDiegue responds:

Thanks for your support :D yeah I also realized the same thing of the ribbons when i was finished.

So that's a... piece of armor? Looks more like a small droid being controlled by someone, symbolic of our world, of the bigger scheme and order. Graphically it looks good, sleek and simple with pretty detailed textures on all areas. I like the added glow too. What feels a bit weird is that the armor actually has finger-nails! Also, the green background is strangely normal considering the situation, maybe red or gray would better build up the atmosphere? Keep it going!

TheDiegue responds:

Thanks for the feed back. I´ll be sure to look through the colors more thoroughly next time.

And btw, the hand is a puppet hand the armor is the yellow part, supposed to be protecting the heart, i guess it doesn´t look like that oh well. XD

Hmm, so this is how caffeine actually looks! This was interesting... not so visually appealing maybe, but good knowledge!
