Cold eyes peering through that nightly haze... pretty atmospheric! You don't notice the shells as much as it feels you should though.

I rarely do this kind of shading. Especially for someone who's drawing this mouse, this style ain't the best for this.
Pretty savage work here! Heckzibah looking good. Only details that don't seem as good as they could is that background floor. The style just doesn't really match the rest of it. No outlines at all. The background haze fits in though. Great character art.

Thanks, yeah, backgrounds are generally a weak point for me. I guess that's pretty typical though.
Hell yeah! >:D Now this is what a firefight really ought to look like. Just as masterful as the original cover was, with emphasis on the muzzle flash, suitable lighting, a surplus of red and gore and shadow... really building that atmosphere.
Those tentacles wrapped around the buildings in the background are a nice touch too, though wonder if there were ever any like that in the DOOM universe hmm... anyway this was pure awesome. Going in my favorites fast... classy work.

Tentacles around building are from the Doom Eternal.
Thanks.
Ah here's that one that was later colored in!This was really cool. Almost better in black and white than in color... the details just come across so differently here, even if the background's still a blank canvas. Could've been a good place for some black text eh? ;)
Definitely had more of an atmosphere with the other, but there's so much to look at here in comparison! Really cool.

yeaahh!! I really enjoyed the black and white version more honestly. I DO lose a lot of detail, and movement when I add color, and it's all about picking the right color palette. ;-; Thank you so much! I'm really inspired to rework this!
A somber and icy piece! And with a story to it too. Or a glimpse of it. Feels like the way it ends you want to keep reading...

Hahaha. Well I'm pushing everyone I now to bother Fulp about allowing a section online for Graphic novels/comics. If that ends up being implemented, I'd love to post the other 23 pages of story and illustration. I just don't know where to go for webcomic hosting. Anyways. Digressing.
Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it.
Looking beautiful.

Thanx :3
Hmm, seems like this might be a reinterpretation of an existing story? I'm not sure what it's about, or where it's leading, if it's the start of more, or complete in itself, if it maybe has a message in greed, or family values, or relates to the story more so...? Would be nice to know more.
The drawing's fantastic though, so much detail, and how it really flows together. Seems like a purposeful piece too.

Thanks Cyverdevil for your comment and the interpretation of the drawing.
...though thick outlines seem to work well too! World of contrasts here. Curious if there's any one style you consider your main style, or if it's a constant process of experimenting between these? Nice work.

This piece is a little older but I have been really liking the lineless stuff recently!
I do want to go back to lines soon but I really enjoy working with blocks of color!
Doing that outline-free style pretty well! And a really sharp contrast between the background and character too. Looking good! Bit more detail on the nose than the rest of him though.
-cd-
Ha yeah!
I was talking to the commissioner and they mentioned his nose was split and I thought that was super cool! Wanted to make sure the viewer could see that too!
Thank you!
After the furries (not that I don't appreciate those) it feels pretty refreshing with something human! Digging the spacey background, horizon, and of course: main two characters. Form's just perfect, and the smooth textures, coloring, the detail too... this one really was something else! Looking amazing.

Thank you for the kind feedback!
