lmao, never joke about death! Even though you just... joked about death you know? :P Nice one. And do hope Michael Schumacher gets better, feels like that guy's been around forever, through all my growing up, even if I didn't really follow the sport. Considering how many brutal car accidents he's been it it'd be ironic if he dies from something as trivial as skiing!!

ChazDude responds:

There'd be a shit-ton of irony right there.

Hello there poliip! Compared to the sketch verything is so much shadier/glossier here... overally lifelike and humanly hued. Nice work!

You look kinda tired. :P As for that Tu-Ta TuTa, I'd have assumed that was the sound of something jazzier if you didn't mention the DnB. Anyway, it's always interesting seeing how art takes on its final form, can open both this and the final work in different tabs and toggle back and forth for comparison too. Nice sketch!

Sounds like you really like to challenge yourself? Even with wrong hand and basic tool of illustration it looks great, slick forms and colors, and what an attentive/obedient/lonely gaze (pretty ambiguous I guess). Nice work!

Yes, nothing is impossible in Ms Paint. Thank you for those kind words. /Shleeen

A pretty lifelike (if you can consider Pokemon a form of life) set of figures! Would've been nice if you could angle that Bellsprout to hide the toothpick more, but either way, they look great!

Stance considered, that dragon looks pretty human! It feels like the unnatural pose doesn't make him seem as fierce as he could be, and the spear looks pretty useless compared to his vicious fangs, but line work/coloring overall is great! Keep it going!

artistunknown responds:

Yeah, he's only holding the spear because I wasn't sure what to do with the arms. At one point I was even considering not even having arms but then I thought having him hold something would be the best way to go. But yeah, the line work and coloring were the most important parts, so I'm glad thosea re what's good.

Thanks for the review!

Those hexagonally-patterend globes.... look like nests of some sort? Hives? Interesting monument in the background, and impressive trees. Without that darkness at the bottom /I guess it's a landscape far below, but it looks kinda close) it'd probably give a n impression of a complete void, devoid of any Earthly link. Pretty cool!

Doomroar responds:

Ah yes the domes, they are supposed to be some kind of buildings similar to the one that appears in the background island, i guess they can also work as aesthetic monuments.

I do like the trees on this one more than the ones that i made in the actual painting, however i also think that making them twist as they grow was a step in the right direction, all in all i think i should finish that painting and correct things so they would be more consistent with the original concept.

Yeah the "landscape" below it is supposed to be a complete void, but really it is just me being my usual lazy self.

All the dark-side Christmas characters gathered together! :D I love the coloring, so smooth and wholesome, though many of the outlines kind of flow into the background. Not sure if that's the scan in play or if that's how it is? Also, that package at the very back has a color on one side that doesn't really fit the rest of it. Nice work overall!

LATstudios responds:

Thank you! The "flowing background" is how it is on paper, actually. I know that that colour does not totally fit with the package but I didn't have the right colour for it.

Though the splatter adds a sense of brutal, the glow around that little leprechaun-like character makes it seem like it's not so bad after all. It's a soft and ambient picture, like a moment of melancholy realization more than... death. Nice work!

Thanks!!

That ass! Smokingly chronic; a token demonic. Also that mask. Not sure if the red is actual skin or a latex suit, seeing how glossy it appears (?), but the line work is great! Also pretty interesting backpackthingdetail, whatever that is. Keep it going!
