The character's really sitting on the edge here... I like the scenery, the wetness and glow in particular, which really comes across well, but the frame of buildings feels a bit square and bland... maybe some differences in windows might change that? Less square building forms? Doors? Just something to break the very basic block-like layout of them, and the character, though not bad, is really sitting on the sidelines there... can't put my finger on it but the proportion/angle just feels wrong somehow. Though all forms look right individually.

Not so much background detail this time but a suitable one for such a fire-fingering character mystery. Form's all on point too! Solid work.

Wondering if the fire could be a bit more.. fiery.

Really liking the style with this one, with how everything is outlined and clear! Smooth forms. Smooth gloss with the white on all edges.Creative colors, too. The background fades away when the outlines end and the blur begins... really gives a living environment too, even if it's all green, it feels tropical. Compact. Nice work.

Well this was different. :) An artist as an artform... interesting how the colors he paints with are all the ones he's made of too.

Feeling like the scenery/background all blends together a bit, the outlines make it feel dim and undefined, and maybe the square form of it all does so too, but main focus: looking good! Subtle signature inclusion too.

A city built in the helmet of a giant huh. :) Stronghold of old by the cold folds of the winding river... really love the detail here, and the idea of it! Feels like I'm really missing some LIFE though. The village doesn't really seem to be abandoned, but there's no person around, no animals either, no semblance of motion except in the stream... but it's quite a scene.

Thanks man :)
I was considering doing a series of these dead giant illustrations, so maybe I'll use your feedback for the next one.
Always appreciate the feedback friend!

Cheers,

I guess it does! It really is pretty small though, and the contours don't seem crisp, like pixel work usually is... wonder if it's been scaled? Or compressed? For this particular type of art it'd be good to export in a format that really shows each pixel individually. This seems like a bit of a hybrid style. Nice scene, though, albeit hard to look at when it's this size...

Edit: Nice, you really do see it better like this! :D It looks like real pixel art too. Seems it's scaled up... x10? More? Nice work.

This is its real size. Would you like me to scale it up?

In response: About 8x

Original characters hmm? Curious if this is for a game, or something...? Pretty good-looking pixel art overall, and with an oldskool-looking color scheme too. Not bad.

Yep, I'm making a game and this is for the screen where you choose your appearance.
My Cafeteria pic is from the game itself.
Thanks a lot, btw. Glad you like it.

Pretty classy poster art here! Cryptic, as the series too. :) Not bad.

thank you good sir!

Looks more like posing in a traditional way. :) And looking good, too! Smooth work.

Oh thanks man!

Really slick-looking portrait! Subtle outlines and all. Seems like a villain that'd fit right into that game too. Nice work.
