Imagine if the game evolved like this. :D Awesome reinterpretation of a memorable classic! And also, that line of trees looks almost like a mirage, or a reflection, the way the contours fade out in the sand, as if the desert in the distance is a surface of water that blends in seamlessly with the sand (more noticeable while viewing in full resolution). Pretty dreamy effect. Looks good!

Thanks a lot for your kind comment. I got quite frustrated with the end result, because it just wasn't turning out right. The original was already so detailed...it's amazing! I looked at many screen shots from the game and they are all so cool already...haha

Either way, I am glad you like it!!!! ^^)

Haven't played any Zelda, but I'd say she and Korra (Avatar) look a bit alike somehow. Nice character art, and hazy background light.

I don't see Korra at all lmao, but thank you ^^
I only see the flaws in my drawing tho lmao

What a lovely scene! :D I've seen some pretty dark scenarios for this context, so it's refreshing with a a more comical piece like this. Nice work on the detail and color, and a lot of expressive visuals too, like the swirl of stars and Deadpool's miniature heart (considering how violent he is I guess the scale is pretty authentic huh :P). The guard against the wall looks a bit flat somehow, and maybe too dark outlines considering he's further back? Overall though, a great piece! Good luck with the contest.

Thank you for your useful feedback! :D
I wanted to use the comical and crazy of their personality, even though i do not know them that well, I tried and I think i succeeded. And I did indeed focus the most on the main characters, so I get that the guards don't look that great compared to them. And you're right about the outline on the guard in the back, I didn't really notice it until you said so. Thank you for your critique and thanks for the goodluck! ^^

Pretty cool character design! Surrounded by a vortex of power; that netted texture is pretty cool too. Character reminds me a bit of Ichigo's second Hollow form, at least the face, so I so wonder if there's any intentional inspiration there? Plenty of details that don't match though, like cape sword and wings. If it's a custom character it's a pretty memorable design, and lotsa detail! Looks good.

Thanks for the critique! It's actually intended to be the character Corrin from the new Fire Emblem: Fates and Smash Bros. In the game he/she has the ability to transform into a wierd sort of dragon thing, so I ran with the idea and tried to make him into a form 1/2 man, 1/2 dragon. Oh and he has a wierd chainsaw blade thing too, incase you were wondering :P

It's a pretty basic design, but looks functional, and that line-work's pretty cool. Zebra Glock? :P Would be a catchy name! IMO all these designs would look better centered on the canvas btw, and some more details would be neat. Name, caliber, etc print on the side maybe? Safety? Visible mag and release button? Some more grooves and ridges to convey the roughness of metal? Keep it going!

Looks like a younger, softer version of Ichigo somehow, facial features a bit unlike, but there's no mistaking that bright orange hair and Shinigami substitue suit! Really looking forward to when this anime picks up again, but considering how much fan-art I seem to see lately... maybe it is and I doth not know it yet? O_O Nice piece!

Mhm, I am yet to realize how to properly do fanart with references (regarding the unlikeness), so to avoid this way too feminine effect.

No, you're not missing anything, no anime and somewhat dull development in the manga, but HI, fellow fan :)

A stylish piece; with the right amount of fuzz this time. :) Soft lines just make it look more natural, and form is great, though I'm not so sure the eyebrows need outlines? Interesting how the blue blotches work with the skin tone btw, and in the hair, it's always impressive seeing colors I wouldn't think to combine be used for the most natural effect... though now that I really pay attention to the blue maybe it is just a little bit much. Nice work though!

Kaolinn responds:

Thank you again, you pretty much spotted everything that in my mind is finished per se (we both can clearly see the image would need a fair amount of polishing for it to be considered complete) but are somewhat sloppily rendered (blue in the hair, now I see it and it's just... yuck):) :)
Drawing is a hardcore work in progress for me and rushed/sloppy things need to be pointed out.

Thank you for all the praise too, your comments are perfect.

An impressive pixel perfect pack of avatars! And not just a few either! Nice work.

Thanks for the feedback and stars. :)

Heey a Chocobo, that fictional Dodo/Ostrich hybrid that always packs such a blast of nostalgia everytime it appears. :D Happy piece, though those claws look almost too much like knife blades. Keep it going!

Something crazy sure about to go down here. :P That wooden clobber looks a bit menacing though... nice piece overall, detailed; with that stylish white outline all around. The blood in particular looks great, though pretty morbid piece the way he just laughs off such suffering. Would be one thing if he was tied to a bed or something, and Harley was prepping some massive weapon, but this is a liiittle over the top crazy IMO. Anyway, graphically it's well done. Nice work.
