Re: Infinity again. (it is looping!)
Man that is cheating... it only works because you make a control point to prevent it to drift into infinity otherwise that would never work, but i guess that is the whole point of that model. And then there are the 2 points used to bridge the circle that feels even more as a cheat, when was the last time i felt like this? Anyway there you go an infinite circle... man it tastes so wrong, why?

Re: what unwritten digital law are you guys talking abooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuutttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt
? wonder if it worked... i did it the last time on the NG PMs

Re: gorgonopsid
Damn so cool, he looks like crocodilian that is also half canine!

RE: trees, shrubs, & the plant life
We do have some laws about to how much a tree is allowed to grow near houses and roads, and i was pretty sure that the whole thing was universal... i mean it makes sense... it also depends of the type of tree, and its positioning, in the end i think that it is related more on how close a tree is allowed to get to a certain high (because power lines and stuff) and how wide it can get in relation to roads and houses around the tree.

Re: finally up to date, how long will this last?
*reads* "Massaging Musician" what... seems like i am NOT up to date yet, oh your sister i see. Well she could have you write the lyrics and notes, and the she signs. I keep my online life apart from my fam too, but i think that my dad knows that i waste time on NG.

Pico eats cake that was cut with the same knife he uses to kill zombies!? that cant be healthy...

Re: Infinity again. (it is looping!)
You understand them formulas man? :O 1337 math skills. Doesn't seem to really sync with the way I pictured it, but I'm not complaining...

Re: what unwritten digital law are you guys talking
Hmm, no line-break on this one?! Mysterious.... maybe letters work differently than symbols. Gotta cccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

EDIT: It's not working! What did you do?!

Re: gorgonopsid
Haha, word!

RE: trees, shrubs, & the plant life
Oh, yeah I'm sure there are rules for power lines specifically, and that all larger government facilities/companies have their own regulations, as well as in the bigger cities (all densly populated areas have their own 'plans'), but no national laws.

Re: finally up to date, how long will this last?
Hah, yeah. About lyrics: I did write one lyric for her, and it turned out great! It's not online though, as she was saving it for some competition that never happened, was around the time she kinda stopped with music, a few years back. We have really different views on lyrical structure though, I believe that it's an artform and it's up to each artist to use structure as they like, that it doesn't even need a set pattern if you aren't writing for someone else, much less rhyme scheme, chorus, bridge, etc - yet she's pretty stubborn about how everything has to follow the norm, rhyme a certain way, have a certain amount of lines, be a certain length, etc... different schools.

Hmm, you got the point there. If it's like 28 Days Later he might become a zombie too... idea for a Halloween game btw: Zombie Pico.

Stupid re comments

Resident Evil?

No Doomroar and S3C are typing in Re: Infinity and all that shit. It's getting annoying >:(

But we're having a diverse and stimulating conversation here. :P

Re: Stupid re comments.
I know right!? this has become such a long comment section i will try to ignore some topics to make it shorter then just for you @Danluz .

Re: Nationality
Lol no man with an O ColOmbia, Columbia is the female personification of the US, which as much as a good critic it could be, we haven't got to that level of ass sucking (yet...), the name comes from Cristoforo Colombo better known as Christopher Columbus, and the guy was a bastard, so to have a country named after him speaks of masochism, so yeah...

Re: father & Mother's day
Yeah both are celebrated, but father's day was canceled for the elections, and i agree they got their priorities right for once, we will have it anyways the next Sunday. As for Mother's day we have that one too among a few other hundreds of holly-days (ok not hundreds but is like each christian saint has its own damn day), as for spending time with your family i agree we shouldn't depend on holidays to do that.

Re: mayonnaise
Pancakes with tuna? no, with eggs, with jam, with ham, with cheese, with butter, with honey, but not with fish, it sounds kinda salty though not sure if i would like it, and the mayonnaise on top of it makes it less appealing, if i ever try it, i would probably change the mayo to something else.

Re: Cadaver disposal
Dude cremation is so not eco-friendly, it wastes so much energy, let your body rot and be consumed by nature! feed a tree man! back to the soul, even if the soul exist your body is no longer feeling, and is decomposing so what will you be feeling anyway? to what link if the links are no longer there? is like that question of "can the ghost of the blind see?".

Re: insects & moral rights & eggs
Yeah, but as shells are now, they are a no no, maybe when GMOs advance some more.

Re: Family tree
Only 2 to 3 generations? so that is like 200 - 250 years at best, ok maybe less. Oh Kvens, so no vikings?

Re: fascist like ideologies.
However in your way since is brogue from a conflict based model, the opportunists can made the whole thing into a system fueled by hate.

That's why the Res are important, i cant remember neither what that part was about.

Re: Stupid re comments.
It is a bit lengthy... I'm imaging what intense comment counts this post would get if each subject merited a stand-alone comment. :O Though it would be hard to keep track of...

Re: Nationality
Ahh, sorry about that misconception! I was thinking of the country, my spelling's just a bit off, apparently. Mmm..

Re: father & Mother's day
Ah, so only the date's changed! Well it's different in different countries after all, that sounds reasonable. True that.

Re: mayonnaise
With eggs? With ham?! With cheese??!! Man you have some strange combinations over there. O_o Haha, well it's all relative; cultural differences I guess. It's supposed to be a bit salty, but well maybe you wouldn't like it. We have a dish called 'saltsill' which is basically fried herring in a bed of butter, onions and tons of salt. It's eaten with potatoes, and is what I'd call a perfect meal. Taste is just sublime. I guess we use a lot of salt overall here, especially with fish. Might have its roots in way back when we didn't have fridges, and salt was a good way of keeping food fresh a longer time.

Re: Cadaver disposal
That's true. Though here they could cremate people in the winter, they could even use the heating plants, kill two birds with one stone! :D Hmm, the ghost of the blind... what do you think? Can it? It sounds nice about returning to nature and all, but I don't know...

Re: insects & moral rights & eggs
Argh, no GMO! Noooo!

Re: Family tree
It's less than 200 years, but plenty of side-branches we don't really have connections with any longer. Well who knows, Kvens were here way before Vikings, maybe there's some VIking ancestry somewhere inbetween then and now. :)

Re: fascist like ideologies.
Brogue? Yeah but that can happen with any system.

True that.

Re: Sweden is peaceful
We get more insight on the problem thanks to the news coverage, and some sociology classes, but other than gangs the war doesn't really gets to the urban areas, the rural ones and small populations, they do have it quite bad, but as far as everyday life goes if you ask a random kid he would be surprised that we have 3 way internal conflict (4 way counting paramilitaries, which still exist). No the drug wars are relatively tame compared to Mexico or El Salvador, the war here is a conflict that explode in 1948 and was known as "La Violencia" (The violence and damn the name was spot on), in essence it was an all out war between the conservatives and the Liberal Party, because corruption, negligence, and just plain evil people in being in power, a lot of things have happened since then and as of now we have a couple of revolutionary groups still fighting a war that is going nowhere, with a government that just recently realized that they cant end that war with the use of force (however there are still some politicians that believe carpet bombing is the solution...), so yeah this war is 60+ years old, older than most grandparents, the internal war is in essence the government vs the guerrillas vs paramilitaries vs the newly founded drug cartels, is a battle royale with the government cooperating with the paras and in doing so allowing for some horrors to happen, and if you have to ask yes the US was also involved here, sending troops, giving training, resources, all part of an anticommunist agenda, long story short, we now have ex- paramilitaries (and current too...) turned drug lords with high military knowledge and troops command running free to abuse the zones where the state is absent, and those zones are quite abundant really.

Re: Drug Law
Yeah it can work, in paper.

Re: Sweden again
Is indeed a problem that they don't make a fuss when a police officer dies, but that they are so prone to repudiate violence is wonderful man, is an idiosyncrasy! meanwhile the US is plagued with school shootings... and i give it 5 years and the same will happen in Mexico mark my words, they got a recent increase of hardcore bullying, something that was not there 5 years ago.

Re: Mugshot
No, just the day i first posted it, and then since you said "Not a bad choice!", i said no way! so i checked, and found that indeed it changes, today's is also a fun1

Re: Sweden is peaceful
Which side were the US on, government or revolutionaries? It sounds like a pretty dangerous place to live in! Though good to hear it's nothing 'normal' people really notice. As for the revolutionaries though, there's no potential they'd run into the cities and try taking over, killing innocent bystanders in the process, etcetc? Do you sympathize with either side btw?

Re: Drug Law
Paperworks.

Re: Sweden again
The problem with police not being able to use real force is that the criminal underbelly keeps fattening up in some areas, Malmö is pretty much run by gangs now, occasionally they have a shooting, or someone throws a grenade... it's not a very safe area. School shootings are a different matter though, I don't think it has so much to do with the police as with mentality, they need to change the way people think! Ah, the bullying... a sign of initiating social decay...

Re: Mugshot
lol man, this is going to become a habit, let's see... heeey you're right! :D

Re: Nationality
Not sure if has anything to do with California, but yeah near middle of the city.

Re: drug law again
Ah but there are plenty of ways to consume marijuana without smoking it, there are hydrodrops, tea, as a beverage, etc. So that can help avoiding lung cancer, as for Coca sodas, yeah i knew, did you knew that Peru has a Coca based soda that doesn't has cola? is a rare version of Inca Kola, of course i guess it is named after the Inca's civilization, because selling your history for marketing is cool i guess?

Re: Infinity again. (it is looping!)
Well it pretty much allows you to jump/warp/bridge from one negative point to a positive one, without breaking the line, and to divide by 0 among other nice cheats... i mean things, things... so yeah this pretty much gets yo back on infinity as a loop (using finite points).

It seems to be working for
meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Or at least your comment works...

RE: trees, shrubs, & the plant life
What about houses and roads? that must be standard right?

Re: finally up to date, how long will this last? (so far 2 days, S3C is the one that needs to catch up now XD)
I kinda like your school more, is more fresh and free, it allows from some wacky surprise to happen, but her way is good too, it will help her to get some legitimization as an artist once the big critics get a hold of her work.

Zombie Pico sounds interesting!

Re: Nationality
Nope, nothing to do with California. Good knowing!

Re: drug law again
True true, seems most people don't 'use' it that way though. Oh, that I didn't know! Would be fun to taste that some time. Though wait, it has actual Coca in it? Yeah, traditions are awesomely profitable... and awesome! When it actually is actual tradition it's all the more often, when it's just profit-based practice not so.

Re: Infinity again. (it is looping!)
Woot. Dividing by zero hmm, kinda makes sense, an infinite equation...

It seems to be working for
meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Goddangit magnet! Looks like comment responses are parsed differently. :C

RE: trees, shrubs, & the plant life
We have an authority that takes cares of roads, keep signs updated, clears shrubbery and trees that are in the way, etcetc, but I don't think there are any actual laws regulating this maintenence work. They have their own regulation, which usually applies only to larger roads. If a tree falls over a road though, we have a right to call it in and have them fix it, long as it's a public road. That's one leisurely use for our insanely high taxes! Not for houses no, not outside densely populated areas.

Hah, there'll be a lot of reading if he wants to read in! :D
Thanks, I feel so too, I like the freedom, and how it seems to breed creativity and a desire to constantly 'evolve' the written form, discover new schemes and patterns and experiment with no considerations as to what the norm is. I still probably don't freewrite half as wildly as Nietz though... yeah, unfortunately most of the people who work in the music industry work within a very confined patterns, the Indie and Alternative people live on the edge a bit.

It'd be an Immortal classic!

Re: Stupid re comments
Just noticed that these are still long, and this Re here is actually not helping at all XD.

Re: mayonnaise
Pancakes and eggs, is so damn normal! man say what? it doesn't gets more cliche a breakfast than Pancakes eggs with bacon, probably cereal is more cliche... well i myself don't like bacon at all so just pancakes with eggs and of course some honey or jam on the pancake, the novel thing is that over here it is accompanied with some sugar cane juice, chocolate, coffee or any kind of juice we get plenty of easy access fruits all year round, rice and eggs is quite common a breakfast too, but none of that has mayo (some people put pink sauce that is mayo and ketchup on their eggs, terrorism i tell you!).
Well that does look salty, and greasy, but it also looks appetizing, however i am not sure if i will eat it for breakfast.

Re: Cadaver disposal
Corpse powered heating plants? haha, who knows maybe, they would need to add plenty of fat and sugar heavy people since it burns better.
Returning to nature is the natural thing man! XD.
No idea i don't believe in ghosts, but it would be nice for them to regain sight after dying.

Re: insects & moral rights & eggs
Yes GMO! yeeeees! XD (it can be done right man!)

Re: Family tree
Plenty of siblings on that tree?
Oh didn't knew that the Kvens were that old, the registry on google pics shows them as quite the advanced group, maybe they got invaded or a plague/natural disaster happened and they suffered a draw back?

Re: fascist like ideologies.
Damn you spell check brought *
Yeah, and no, yes in the sense that any system can fail prey to corruption, and no in the sense that that system is already thinking of a conflict of them vs us, which is already problematic.

lol, I think I'll skip this first one this time around. :P

Re: mayonnaise
I've heard of bacon and eggs, and pancakes with maple syrup, but never a combination of those two! I actually tried rolling up a pancake with a fried egg once, it was just... weird... sounds like a delicious breakfast though (the combination you do eat)! I usually eat oat milk or yoghurt with lingonberry jam and muesli, sometimes a ricecake or sandwich, not usually that large breakfasts. Oooh, sugar cane juice! Nice. I usually drink peppermint tea, or some other tea, depends what's fresh in the garden (or in winter: what we've dried). Haha yeah, that's not breakfast food! Neither is pancakes with tuna btw, we usually have that for dinner. And if we do, it's usually Thursdays, the traditional pancake day here. Speaking of pancakes btw, I mean the larger type, the one that fills the breadth of a frying pan, not those small round American ones. We also have another, thicker type here which is prepared in the oven, in an oven tray, which is usually eaten with just butter or lingonberry.

Re: Cadaver disposal
When you put it that way I start thinking of the Holocaust hmm, sounds kinda morbid, on second thought... I like returning to nature when I live though, taking a walk, breathing in the fumes of Pine and dry grass, mmm... I'm wondering more if ghosts, if they do exist, would have senses comparable to that of a human being. If they could see, taste, smell, hear, etc or if they'd somehow just 'feel' the world... it'd be like another plane of existence...

Re: insects & moral rights & eggs
No! Nooo! It'd be the end of the world as we know it! *might be

Re: Family tree
Eh siblings? I mean, like my grandmas grandmas kids kids kids kids, people we normally would not know about. Say wutt?! Suffered a draw back? All I know is they are a mysterious group of natives, according to some the original inhabitants of this Northern area...

Re: fascist like ideologies.
Ahh, I was thinking you might've meant rogue! XD True.

Re: Sweden is peaceful
Since when has the US been helping the commies? XD, the US was sided with the government, and those who helped the government (paramilitaries).

The rural zones indeed are quite dangerous, even if the government says that the situation has calmed down (and it has in a way), but other groups come into play to mess with the forest and valleys (paras, multinationals using paras to control land with the help of the government, illegal cartels that switch from drugs to illegal mining, etc.), so yeah if you want to go to a rural zone it better be close to the big cities (or near/inside a native encampment they have their own military which is a relief really, they need more organization and better treatment, they are also victims of this 4 way conflict, and are often forced to take sides in the crossfire).

No there is no actual danger of the revolutionaries taking over, because for once we are in peace negotiations with the biggest group of guerrillas (there are various the most notorious being FARC), second the cities are quite well defended in that regard, and third while they are far from over they have indeed weakened, but there was a time when they were able to enter all the way and strike city-halls and the like right in the center of the cities, quite a feat actually, the M-19 was even able to take over our equivalent of the white house in 1985, and as of now they are no longer an armed group and even have their own political party, their actions back there were indeed within reason, now needless to say that most of their now civil members were killed by the government in a series of post-conflict operations which were absolutely illegal, indeed nothing less of political crimes.

Do i sympathize with them? man that question, how many have died answering the wrong thing being labelled insurgents and the like? this current president is more lenient on allowing people to have an opinion, so i will say that i do a agree in part with them, but not with their methods, however is rare the times when the government was willing to listen to the opposition, and at the moment taking arms was a feasible way of doing things, it was time of revolution communism was strong, and there was a time when some foreign news outlets even said that the guerrillas could win, but! as of now, the whole thing is pointless for all the sides. (then i got sniped)

Re: Sweden is peaceful
Oh, the rebels are commies? I didn't know that! Alright!

Sounds like the opposite of how it is here, the cities are where everything's going down, it's in the rural areas you have a chance at living peacefully, away from the violence and stress... not that it's very violent here. Seems shameful to even compare... Btw, who owns all the forests over there? Are there private enterprises involved or is it all actual wilderness?

Hmm, man that still sounds dangerous...

Those female snipers on the rooftops again? You never know where they are, watching, waiting, anticipating a wrong word or sudden movement...

Ehh, I've already drowned in this sea of comments...

Seeing this comment amidst this flood... it's symbolic! :O

Joking i am alive i ran out of characters! yeah... BTW this new president is the same old one, so he is having his 2nd office run, the previous one was a guy with an iron fist and a "big heart", for real did he used that iron fist, "funny" enough the current pres was the Minister of National Defense appointed by that very previous president, and now he himself is president, but his approach is that of peaceful negotiation, but don't get me wrong they all come from the same wealthy families in power, democracy is indeed an illusion under a monarchy by a bunch of cousins sharing power, which is part of what ignited "La Violencia", so things have changed, but wind is still windy and water still wet.

Re: Sweden again
Yeah they need to think more like the Swedish and culturally ban violence! XD.
Let me guess the gangs are mostly made out of immigrants? i see were this is going, because we already talked about it XD.

Re: drug law again
Yeah it has coca plant (which is different from cocaine needless to say) on it, a little bit more like 10% more of what the original coca-cola had, it does nothing and it taste actually good, my dad gave me pack when i was in 9th grade, tell you the truth i don't think that it has any coca on it and it is just propaganda, the soda itself is only sold in Peru. Well they try to pass it as a drink of the past but formulated as a thing of the present, kind of thing.

Well it sure is not working for me, i will save some characters this time.

RE: trees, shrubs, & the plant life
So it is a private company that does public maintenance, but is not regulated by public laws? well that is sadly quite common nowadays. Wait so if your house has a tree, lets say the front yard near the road, maybe close to a lamppost, it is allowed to wildly grow just like that? i have my doubts.

Re: finally up to date
I kinda feel sorry for S3C now XD, but he is on vacations (i think) so he should have the time.
Yeah Nietz is something else on his own, can't really compare him to anything else, the very definition of wild writing haha, i agree the indie are the ones that have the freedom to actually take the risk and try the new things, as for alternative the name is self-explanatory XD, but the established pros may look at those alternatives as deformations of the art form instead of innovation, is more a matter of control and definition of what is art.

Heh, I never doubted! Thanks for answering truthfully anyway, let's hope the government officials don't aimlessly wander about the New Grounds and stumble upon potentially insolent comments along their voyage... apart from this struggle between the fractions of power, how is everything else working in society? Schools OK? Are there plenty of jobs? Taxes, prices, import/export, tourism, natural or historical heritages?

Re: Sweden again
Indeed, not that we're the perfect example but... there is a way! Hah yeah, by good margin, statistically proven... but better not delve into this conversation again...

Re: drug law again
I'd think selling drinks with Coca in it would be illegal though, even there. Wait, looks like... 'coca teas, granola bars, cookies, hard candies, etc. are available in most stores and supermarkets, including upscale suburban supermarkets.' :O

The mugshot thing?

RE: trees, shrubs, & the plant life
It's a government-owned/financed company actually (fortunately! I hope they don't sell it like they're doing with all the other ones), but no it's not regulated by public laws. If the tree is close to the road, they have a right to cut it down, with a certain margin. Smaller roads have 6 metres of 'road space' to use up, even if the road itself is a lot less. Larger roads have more, don't know exactly how much though. Same goes for any power lines. But if the tree is outside this margin you can let it grow as wild as you like. Or, they could let it grow even if it's within the margin, it's different from place to place, I guess they would cut down a tree if it seemed to post a significant threat though (within that margin, I mean). Hope that makes sense.

Re: finally up to date
Oh, @S3C you're on that vacation now? True that, a new breed, a writer like the world has never seen before. :D Yeah, it's a shame really since music has much less structured roots, but with pop music; commercialism that's how it turned out...

12 minutes ago!? damn fast, i will allow S3C to catch up. See in the nearer future probably today.

What happened 12 minutes ago?! Alright, see you then!

RE: Doomroar's Origin
Oh cool, Columbia land. Is the max sentence there still 22 years because the prisons are so full or something? And is it true that beautiful women walk around naked their freely? (not because they don't have clothes or anything, they just do it for fun)

RE: Mugshots
Yeah, changes, everyday, pretty depressing to think how many people are booked into jail everyday (although they are innocent until proven guilty by court), and what is shown on the website is not a fully exhaustive list, and is only from one county in Arizona although it constitutes of roughly half the population (around 6.5 million total). There were 110 mugshots yesterday published online. It's usually attractive females (the girl a couple days ago was a model) or people that just look plain creepy. Sadly, many of the creepy ones have mental illnesses.

RE: ancient zoology
Vocal mimicry?? As in humans digitally trying to recreate potential vocalization of ancient mammals? good word choice btw...It wouldn't be accurate at all, considering vocal tissue/chords and related muscles don't really fossilize. What scientists can do is measure the amount of hollow bones in the end, observe how intricate and large the ear bones are and how they may connect to other facial muscle and make a guess. Larger hollow bones means more room for sound to resonate, thus it being louder (and more intimidating).

RE: Unwritten Digital Laws
There is no censor applied to comment responses...feel free to break the horizontal page and say racial slurs!

RE: Doomroar's Origin
Might have something to comment on that a few comments later... intriguing rumors!

RE: Mugshots
Mmm, another attractive female today! Come to think of it, you actually get names, DOBs and basic personal info on that site, it could be used for some other purposes. Yeah, it's not very benevolent of them to put people out like this, I wonder if laws here would even allow it, you'd think personal trivia shouldn't be publically accessible information by default.

RE: ancient zoology
Yupp. We really have stereotypes built-in on how prehistoric critters sound at this point, and I'm sure scientists do as well. Wonder what the first 'guess' sounded like, and how it's changed since then...

RE: Unwritten Digital Laws
Groovy.

the guy in the mugshot btw, is arrested for two counts of (attempted) murder, armed robbery, amongst other charges. It's actually a pretty popular story in the U.S right now. He shot a priest to death and bludgeoned another one badly. Considering he has a history of violent crime (he was released from prison just a month and a half ago and is on probation), he may receive the death penalty.

I missed that mugshot! Intense. O_o

Somewhere in Nevada 1983
A monster facility cell holds creatures of all sorts but one escapes, making the break for a killing spree. It kills a scientist and a security guard, sounding the alarm EVEN louder. Three guards shoot at it but it claws through them. It escapes into the desert, making a break for Las Vegas.

Las Vegas 3:10
Tommy is an average guy making money by selling alcohol. He then sells it to Marcus, a man who works at K.M.S (Keeping Monsters Secure) and then they both spot something that picks up a taxi and almost killed them with it. Police came over, but the monster threw the police cruiser towards the MGM Grand Resort and Casino. It started a fire and everybody in Las Vegas freaked out. The 2 of them threw the alcohol bottles at it and it smashed his face, but it still went on a rampage. Marcus grabs his gun from his car and shot the creature but it grabs it and breaks it. Tommy got into Marcus's car and they both drive to the gun shop. They got there but it was closed. Will they ever get inside and get the guns they need? Or will they be the next ones to be dead meat? Find out in part 2 tomorrow!

3:10 gets me thinking of Yuma, 1983 of Scarface, what coincidental references! :D

The suspense is rising, hope Part 2's not far off!

And we are back to this.

Re: mayonnaise
Oh no no, the eggs don't go mixed in the pancakes sandwich style, no, however i wonder... actually i kinda want try some scrambled eggs with pancake sandwich style...
Interesting what is the particular taste of the lingonberries? you have tea plants in your garden? cool!
Haha, i see then it is OK it makes more sense that way with them not being breakfast, mmh quite some big pancakes! over here the pancake if is that wide is not really that thick, and if is that thick is not that wide, now i feel robbed!

Re: Cadaver disposal
Yeah it sounds quite grim actually, but meh i have worst ideas when it comes to Cadaver disposal...
What about returning to nature when alive, and after? doesn't it sounds poetic and stuff?
I have no idea man, i don't even think that they exist, let alone how they experience their Umwelt (i recently learned that word!).

Re: insects & moral rights & eggs
What a fatalist...

Re: Family tree
Yeah like a bunch of uncles, and granduncles and the like.
Well the google images search shows them, with a lot of nice things like boats and houses and tools that apparently the Vikings don't have.

Re: mayonnaise
Mmm, I kinda want to try scrambled eggs right now, can't remember the last time I had that!

Woah, man, the taste of lingonberries, that's tough to explain... I guess it's like... a mixture between pomegranate and cranberries, with a more floury/juicy consistency. They have a somewhat sharp and rich taste, and are naturally sweet when ripe, but it's much easier to pick them somewhat raw, so they're usually sugared later on. Also, when raw they have some kind of gelatine-like ingredient so it's easy to make stable jams.

Well not tea plants as in the tea plant you get green/white/black tea from /they don't grow here anyway), but herbs you can make tea of we do indeed! Also a little potatoes, tomatoes, black currents, salad... There's a lot more to use up North though, here it's just a 4m2 plot stuffed between the kitchen window and our very small shed.

Ah the full-pan-size pancakes are much thinner than American pancakes, I guess they're around 2-3mm thick, the oven pancake is around 2-3cm though. American pancakes are so easy to eat though, so small and petite and neat! :D

Re: Cadaver disposal
Ah, I learned a new word! There's an XKCD for it too! Yeah, living and dying in the wild, at your roots; all natural... it sounds good. But what if it doesn't feel as good when you're dead? Not trying to 'plant' any doubt in your mind though´. :P

Re: insects & moral rights & eggs
Fatal it ist! Maybe.

Re: Family tree
Mmm.

Oh, cool, wait I... I don't get any boats at all in image search, that's strange... haven't really studied up on the topic though, Wikipedia doesn't have much to say either, it's all pretty vague and mysterious.

Re: Sweden is peaceful
Yeah they go with Marxist ideologies.

Well we do have urban violence just like the rest of the world, but nothing compared to what is going on in some of the more secluded areas.

10 years ago for sure! that would be my ass handed under suspicion of insurrection and the like, but as of now i can be more open with the discontent.

Oh they actually do, but for people that have a political background and the like, but i am a normal civilian so i think i can be fine.
Schools are actually improving... just a bit, but well is something, higher education dogged a bullet so for now it is fine, of course it all can be better.
Jobs, nope.
Taxes, we are doing fine on that regard, but we don't really see where that money is going really, is like paying taxes to a black hole, so that doesn't works.
Prices, they change in a volatile way, but if you get a decent job it all comes a as affordable, however the recent protest by the farmers and agrarian industry (which needed to happen) made the price of food to skyrocket.
Import/export, ambivalent while we get access to a bunch of things, we don't have Mochi ice cream!
Tourism no idea why but it is going well, well we have some nice beaches, jungles, rivers.
Natural or historical heritages, natural resources could do with a lot more care, and the government loves to sell those, plus climate change has killed plenty of animals, and melted the ice of the mountains, is a mess, as for historical heritage well when the Spaniards arrived and conquered the land all that was lost, and the rest were the Afro Latinos which as imported slaves don't really had their history respected, so we get the traditions of the Criollos which are Spaniards born in the Americas, and that is just nasty and disgusting so historical heritage is a piece of shit, and the nice parts were obliterated by the conquerors, or by the racist system after the independence from Spain, which was not really friendly with black people .

Re: drug law again
Well Coca can be a good plant, but we know what the most successful market involving that plant is, and i am damn sure it is not the granola coca bars XD.

No, the characters that leave the comment box.

RE: trees, shrubs, & the plant life
Oh nice, yeah hope the don't sell that one. So they pretty much work depending of how the situation looks?

Re: Sweden is peaceful
Ah.

That's good.

That's good too!

Mmm.

So schools have been bad over there? Do you have public/private schools btw? What kind of history do they teach out?

No jobs?

Mmm, sounds a lot like here too...

Oh, yeah, I think I recall something about the differences in dairy products here and there. It's good they're getting paid though, farmers provide the basic foots pretty much the entire populace feed off, and most barely get enough to get by. They're stepping stones for all the larger industries everywhere.

lol, I don't even know what Mochi ice cream is! :D Do you get stuff from mostly neighboring countries or all over the world? How are prices on imports? Anything specific you export a lot of?

Sounds good! Maybe people looking for adventure go there, maybe take a little walk in the forest, stumble upon a group of Guerrillas...

Aw yeah, that sucks... good example of potential dangers of immigration, though it's not really working like that now... btw, unless I missed that somewhere... who owns most of the forests? Is the wilderness mostly property of the state? You mentioned they're selling out a lot..?

Re: drug law again
lol, if they started exporting those coca granola bars (and it was legal) it could become a huge business. :D

Ahhh, those!

RE: trees, shrubs, & the plant life
Word. Yepp, depending on situation, location (if it's a remote area they're less likely to pay trees that much attention) and who's in charge of that area.

Re: finally up to date (but not yet)
Actually classic music puts a lot of emphasis on structure, so that is quite the old thing.

RE: Doomroar's Origin
The prisons are indeed hellishly full, but the max sentence is 60 years, however i have no idea what you need to do to get more than 22 years, so it may as well be the max sentence.

We do have plenty of beautiful woman of all kinds, but they all wear clothes (sadly), there are some nudist beaches but they are private beaches, lets see where else could you see a beautiful woman naked in public, in a concert i guess if she is one of those women... and in some pro feminism protest they usually go topples with body paint and messages and then the police shoots tear gas and shit goes down, and at that moment you should be running and not looking at women XD.

So no, women keep their clothes in public, even prostitutes in Cartagena have clothes, apparently that city has a big name on sexual-tourism circles, prostitution is illegal here btw.

RE: ancient zoology
Oh interesting, but it doesn't sound all that accurate have they tried replicating the sound of current animals using that method? if so how accurate is the result?

RE: the guy in the mugshot btw
Damn man that story is crazy! we normally get some violent news but they are either from the cartels, or related to the war, it seems that dismembering is popular nowadays. But we don't really get crazy people going around like that, there was Garavito in the 80's but he operated in 4 countries (a serial child rapist), when they got him they gave him 30 years, because it was unthinkable for someone to be that evil, and the law was not prepared for his case (despite all the war, crimes committed by civilians not involved in the inner conflict are quite the tame stuff, and the rest comes from gangs), due to his cooperation his sentence was reduced to 22 years, then increased again due to concern of him actually getting out and the law not being harsh enough, and he is currently serving 60 years.

Re: finally up to date (but not yet)
You have a point there!

RE: Doomroar's Origin
Something political, maybe?

lmao, good knowing. Is prostitution illegal to sell or buy or both?

RE: ancient zoology
@S3C ?

RE: the guy in the mugshot btw
Hmm, any idea how much time he has left?

That Saguzar is one dedicated DooM fan! Impressive!

Pesto, sun dried tomatoes, shredded parmesan cheese, avocados and toasted garlic bread. I can't get enough of this shit!

Sounds delicious!
