Eh? so even Sweden has gang problems, who would have think of that.
Weird i was sure that Sweden had quite a decent military (the equipment at least, the soldiers are never mentioned, but the weapons sure are, weird... anyway the future is drones), but i guess the police is another tale.

Ah no no, one thing is those crazy towns whit weird people living like pilgrims and another is Ecovillages XD, hahaha oh man now i can't stop picturing those crazy isolated small towns.

Well is adults at an age when they can no longer work, are pensioned and they are being taken care by someone else, that someone could be the government, a hospital, an asylum or family, and they don't produce anything really, because for most of their lives all they did was work so now they don't have any real hobbies or entertainment, and are also too old to leave the house.

Filial factions? like in the middle ages? XD, i know about old people being abandoned but not of families dividing into factions, i also know about people getting disinherited but that is different.

Yeah greed is the wall everywhere.

Oh well you talked about being your own self, but if we go into that other approach then sure, what you do in work is not necessarily known at your study place, and what you do there is not necessarily known at your neighborhood, true.

It'll be just as messed up as the US in no time. :L At least we don't have so much guns; violence...

Sweden did have a decent military, then for some reason they sold off huuuge amounts of fully functional equipment to the third world at insanely low prices and decided it was time for an era of peace and... I don't know what they were thinking. Admittedly Costa Rica does do a good job without an army, but wheras they don't have any soldiers and no possibility to provoke, we have a few and thus both the possibility to provoke and to be an easy target. And for some reason the government keeps sending troops to remote locations like Afghanistan to aid the Americans. I don't know what they're thinking... I guess we do have good weaponry though, that's one industry that's still going strong.

Haha, so... do Ecovillages have Internet?

Aha, sounds like the same problem then. I think everyone needs to be involved until their dying day, people need jobs they want to have until they collapse. The 'work now, rest later' ethic is pretty messed up (unless it's a metaphorical 'live free, die hard'.

Filial actually means a branch of a company in SV, just saying (for no reason)... hmm, the middle ages weren't that bad in a lot of ways! Though they were also... bad in a lot of ways. Well I just mean family members move to different areas; build their own families, socialize with their own groups, it's not the same family community any longer.

Another brick in the wall.

Yepp.

Na, for it to get that bad you need a love for guns, more racism, more consumerism, and well yeah more slumps.

Well Costa Rica has Panama at south which had its problem by separating from Colombia, and then immediately getting invaded by the US, then regaining independence, so yeah i don't see them wanting to stir up problem any time soon XD, then they have Nicaragua to the north, which among some inner troubles has been engaged in constant political struggles over territory, the good thing is that they do care about face, so is not like they can go and mess with Costa Rica, that means allowing their neighbors to mess with them and hard so Nicaragua cant really do anything there, in short Costa Rica is protected by his border neighbors.
Wait ain't that just the Red Cross?

Yeah i am sure they do have internet (if is included in the project), hell some even have web pages when you can follow the progress they made, because i remind you, they are projects that in some cases are being backed by government institutions, not always but some times.
I some times think about it, maybe i should go and live in one, if i get too tired of all this.

Live free, die hard, except in japan when you live chained and die hard, sometimes even at work...

Oh i was using the term more from here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filial_piety as in filial of family XD, good to know there is that other use for companies which makes sense since a branch is part of a family in economics i guess.
Aaaah, i see, that haha, well that is kinda normal really, since they no longer live together.

Hmm, we still have a lot to learn! I hope consumerism never gets that bad though, in the US they make buying things such an addicting and rewarding experience, they don't seem to have really figured out all the secrets of luring customers in over here.

Ah, makes sense. We have neighbors we used to own hmm, wonder how that'd develop... and then Costa Rica also doesn't have any abundance of rare minerals or things other more distant countries would want to mine.

Red Cross???

That doesn't sound bad at all. If it's just like a regular society with better ethics and a recyclable lifestyle... everybody should transform!

Word. I thought that was China though.

Mmm, maybe has it's roots in how companies used to be family-driven.

Yeah it's normal now, but in the old days at least family's stuck together by living nearby, they gathered together occasionally and helped out, now the distance is more permanent oftentimes.

Lets hope they never do.

But it has a very rich sea, that a lot of people would want, plus they could make a second canal! invading Costa Rica is a sweet idea, if you are willing to deal with the wolves that are near it (including Murika).

Isn't the red cross essentially a bunch of rich Swedish guys that go around the world entering war-zones, and other desolate unfortunate areas, and dealing with grimy situations? XD.

Well it sounds great, but i want to give it some time, it is still kinda fresh of a thing, but it is good that is being done, and in so many parts of the world too.

Yeah in China too, but Japan has become kinda infamous for it, some companies have their own cemeteries.

Oh could be, or maybe is because we get things like parent branch to refer to the main company, but then why call it parent instead of main?

Pretty much, specially since in our times for the kids to leave their parents to go and make their own lives far far away is seen as a symbol of success (but lets face it most of those are being kicked out by their own parents, so yeah).

Hope so.

Ah, so it has something other countries don't? I guess the main problem with attacking a country without no military would just be a really immoral thing, there's no way such an invasion could be angled in favor of the invading country.

Oh that! All I know is they have a bunch of second hand shops and they help poor people. :P Looks like the might have a different kind of reputation around the world! The military have been lending a 'hand' too though.

Definitely. Hope they make something similar here...

Woah, crazy. Are the employees willingly buried in those cemeteries though? Is it like a job benefit (cause I assume burial's pretty expensive in Japan), or a great honor? Or just a way for the company to show their might?

Oh hey you have the same thing! Interesting. That does sound like a probably reason, but then again hierarchy is often spoken of in family terms. Even in site design you have parent and child elements (like the dropdown menus on this site consist of parent and child elements)...

Success is living a harmonious life and being with those you love! Word. It's all relative.

Well all that zone is a rich sea, so is not like they don't have it, is that they can have even more. Yeah the invading country would be giving everyone else an excuse to go and trash them, however war is in principle immoral anyway...

Sure... XD, the Red Cross is seem in 2 lights, the wonderful trademarked group that goes around the world helping to lessen its dire circumstances, and a thing that some bored rich people made to experience some thrills... i want to think of it in the 1st case.

I know that there is one in Germany.

Is a great honor, it shows that they died working for the company, funny enough sleeping on the job (desk job that is) is seem as a display of effort, as it is somehow assumed that the worker is too tired from working so hard, that said, it is not a rare thing to see people just faking it.

Well that is pretty much global business slang, so i think it must be the same everywhere. Oh interesting i can't remember anything of site design or programming, just that i touched HTML in high school, and a little bit of Java in Uni (a class that i had to cancel, man do i suck at programming XD).

Word.

Word.

First case definitely sounds like a better case, it's like UPPERCASE.

Germany's way ahead of the world when it comes to environmental thinking! Good knowing, if it's close by then all the more potential for that good change to make its way here! :D

Aha. They have some interesting traditions... I wouldn't mind if that viewpoint on dozing off made its way here!

Java's a real pain, I think I tried that once but gave up pretty quickly... also started a C++ class I abandoned. It's different with HTML though, and well of these web-based languages where you can see results directly. They're easier to write, and they don't need to be compiled to produce a result, and if you make an error in the code it's easy to see what it was in the visual presentation. And I like designing stuff, which is part of the code, in difference to most of those other languages...

Office '97!

Upper-cheese!?

Well with the internet there is no real close or far anymore XD.

Lol.

Oh man compiling, it has been quite some time since i saw that word *flash backs of things falling apart then fixing themselves appears upon my mind, shudders, stops*, yeah... i think i got traumatized and now i can't handle web design or programming in general is like my mind shuts and then goes "ooh look at... that... those... words... and lines... text! about something... stuff!", then it was all just code for the size of a window XD.

Cheesecake mmm (intentional typo there).

True that!

Haha, programming and design are like patriotism and communism though. :P I mean, though there's a link they're entirely different skillsets! I wish I'd be more interested in programming but it's just... no fun! Not at all! Good thing some people do like it or this age of IT would be quite problematic..

A cake of chess!?

Yeah we are so lucky to have people that not only understand but also like those things! i do like this IT age.

Totally off-topic, i saw the ending of Samurai Flamenco and Pupipo today, both of them had horrible finales, SF ruined everything it could had done right, even the emotional moment was wasted, how is that even possible evades my mind, and is not for the out of place comedy, but for characters appearing when they were not supposed to appear, even if it was not a surprise, and for Pupipo, it feels axed, i really hope the manga doesn't goes there.
In short since i mentioned those series before i feel the need to warn you about their disappointing execution. While i give Pupipo a 3/10 i don't even feel like admitting that i ever watched Samurai Flamenco... thus i will keep SF out of any of my lists.

A real treasure chess!

Word.

Woah, can it really be that bad? I get curious... watched the end of Toriko just now btw, though it's just a (indefinably lengthed) break from the series, and transition between human and gourmet world - but that one really exceeded my expectation. So much happens in a single episode, and it left me with a great mood too, equally awesome and comical. The end of Kill La Kill was... not bad, but not all that I'd expected either. At the start of the series I liked the fast-pace it held but either something changed along the way, inconsistencies and stuff, or the fast pace gets tiring. Have you seen that one yet?

Time to get that booty.

Haha that is not the end, it got cancelled!!!! (well i suppose that is the end, for the anime that is) man that ending was insulting really, nothing to do with the manga, if you go to the wikia of Toriko you can see the fans raging, and i understand them how come they make him a super saiyan!? XD, anyway who knows when we will get more anime of Toriko, or if they will redo that part or continue with their own path, but yeah the anime got axed, and hard, that is why they had to package everything like that, tell you the truth the ending itself was not that bad, but the manga had some incredible scenes, is a pity that we didn't got to see that, indeed this part was why i asked you if they were already on this arc, man what a pity

Oh i haven't watched the ending of Kill la Kill or Space Dandy yet, i will tell you later today!!!

Hope there's a loot.

Well the end for now, who knows it it'll make a return in the future. A lot of these series transition and get split into two, like Naruto or Beet... for one who hasn't read the manga though it was pretty awesome. :) Aha, well I hope for the future, a series this good doesn't deserve to meet such an early death!

Space Dandy's ending too?? I didn't know! Alright.

Diamonds and gold!?

Man in the manga *SPOILERS* Toriko loses against Starjun, ends without one arm and leg, and Komatsu is kidnapped by Starjun, before leaving Komatsu uses a forbidden healing technique to use the gourmet cells of Toriko and give him back his missing limbs.
Joa is fighting against Setsuno and Jiro, epicness ensues, the Starjun arrives flying the Braga Dragon (holding an unconscious Komatsu), of course Joa ask for Starjun to handle Komatsu, Starjun refuses and challenges Joa into a fight, but since Jiro and Setsuno are still there Joa decides to refuse since it would be a disadvantage, at that moment Midora defeats Ichiryuu and his voice is heard across the world, forcing Joa to retreat.
Ichiryuu is killed by Midora, Midora is not hungry for family love, he is empty, an empty shell who only has hunger, and lust for things to devour, he uses the meteor spice and destroys the human world, this destruction is incredible, the whole human society ends in shambles, not even a piece of greenery stands, starvation plagues the land, and the only way to get out of this is to venture into the gourmet world.

However! Toriko is in bad shape after getting Komatsu kidnapped, and the other heavenly kings where pwned by Joa, Ichiryuu is dead, the IGO is in shambles since a lot of officers were either killed, or turned to be traitors working for NEO, but the Bishokukai (Gourmet Corps) didn't got out of that unscratched, theur HQ was raided and all their chefs were stolen, their ingredients too, and all that remains were some survivors.

Time passes and Toriko finally recovers to the point when he is able to go and rescue Komatsu, the world is still doomed into chaos, when Toriko arrives he finds out about the dire situation of the Bishokukai, so he rushes to find Komatsu, and... !!!! for more info you will have to read the manga! XD

So you see, i don't think those changes are into part, it was a rushed axed ending, it was decent i suppose, but no way near the manga, man and this is what i could put in this message, of course a lot more happened.

Watched the end of Kill la Kill, was good, but i feel like something was missing, it was so damn fast, i will miss that series, they could have extended that finale for at least q or 2 episodes, too fast passed XD.

Yeah Space Dandy ended, but we get a season 2!!!

Don't forget Ruby, Emerald, Silver, Yellow, Blue, Red, FireRed, LeafGreen and Pikachu!

Woah man, that is really completely different than the anime! I am still kinda happy about the happy ending, but the dystopian future you painted up was pretty exiting. Feels like the potential for a continued anime is less when the differences between the anime and manga are so big, so... maybe they did make this end with the intention to end it. Surely the Manga has a happy ending awaiting beyond the veil of sacrifice and carnage? Oh wait, no need for spoiler! I will give it a read eventually!

Yeah, the speed was fun in the first few episodes but at the end it was too much IMO. And some aftermath of the disaster would've been nice to see.

Aha! So it's not really over!

BTW i was feeling nostalgic about kill la kill and then found this by checking the OST, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DuSpD-vZgk
Is a fan made mix, but it explains so goddamn much, no wonder i liked that series so much despite the fast ending.

Oooh, Linkin Park! That was pretty awesome, I was a bit annoyed at the accent during the first minute or so but... it gets intense! Nice.

Gotta mine them all!

Yeah man, the differences are huge, i definitively recommend to give the manga read.

I agree, i was left wanting to know how is that things continued after the life fibers were gone.

Yeah just a season finale.

Especially Gold mine! HeartGold too.

Affirmative. As you know I'm not much of a digital manga reader, but maybe I'll stumble upon some imports eventually... maybe not, maybe I'll change ways!

Mmm, like, do they all walk around nude now?

It's strange some series get their season appended to their name in releases, and others just keep going consistent numbering all throughout the series.

Extract all that SoulSilver!

Haha, changing ways is the most likely option.

Nah they have normal clothes, but apparently Mako is a lesbian and Nudist beach will start using clothes again, it was kinda bizarre XD, and the whole sisters relationship sounded like an interesting thing to see, but yeah nothing much to do without any enemies.

Maybe they do it to say that there are some big differences between one and the other, while in the consistent ones, is just a matter of timing.

Not even a sliver of silver in soul left to deliver!

Well I heard that part about the Nudist beach clothing up again, but it was never really acted out. Huh? Mako is a lesbian? Is that actually mentioned?? Yupp.

Could be! I wonder what kind of differences they could introduce with Space Dandy though, each episode has been something entirely different so far.

Leaving hollow husks behind!

They were going on a date weren't there? the comedic acting was she kissing herself cosplaying as Ryuko XD.

Well Space Dandy second season is called Space Dandy, so i guess more of the same craziness.

What's told is Gold.

Haha oh that! A date could be just a date though. :P Kissing herself? Cosplaying? Manshokou??

Awesome. :)

That's what is golden.

Yeah, remember that each time she intervenes she does those acted monologues, so in one of those she multiples in 2, one of hers cosplays as Ryuko and the other stays normal then they make out, it passes really fast but it is hilarious, because a date could just be hanging out, but she takes it to the next level XD.

Word. Like Goldeen.

Hmm hmm, guess I haven't been paying attention enough! One of the final episodes?

I hate when i get that pokemon as a helper in SSB, is so damn Magikarp levels of usefulness!

The very last episode, when she gives her monologue to Ryuko about what they will do once this all ends.

You can get Pokemon helpers in SSB?! Well I'm sure they make a real splash!

Ah, easy to rewatch then. Btw, looks Fairy Tail just started again! :D

Yeah you can get pokeballs, you can use them in 2 ways, as throwable items, and once they land on the floor, a pokemon will appear, then do some action, and Goldeen does nothing!

I don't really care for fairy tail...
I was reading the manga, until after they come back from that island, and they pull so much BS, they defeat a dark guild, get locked in time, and come back to participate in a tournament with a bunch of no-name out of nowhere magicians that are making a name of themselves while they were away, i believe coincidentally this is were the anime will start again lol.
Plus much like bleach i don't see the goal of that manga, once Natsu finds his dragon father what will happen next? and i can't even remember the background story of the ice guy, there was some stuff with his master, and the daughter of his master that now is evil and stuff, tell you the truth, i found the characters of FT quite empty, and the story inconsistent, like when they go to the cat world and come out with... almost nothing (well some allies if i remember right) it was practically a filler arc to explain the origins of a character that is never there, and then there is Erza, a Deus ex machina without any real explanation behind, and her past story was so sloppily told, sigh for me it was becoming a shore reading FT, and the fanservice was not doing it for me, the story neither, and action, at least that part was good most of the time.

But probably my main problem with FT, is that characters are not conscious of each other, let me explain this, is like they are either blind-deaf or have Alzheimer, things that were explained in the previous chapter are forgotten almost immediately, and you could say: "ah that is just because they are all just freaking dumb XD", and yeah that can be, but that is only funny for about the first 20 chapters, after who knows how much i read that manga, it gets boring.

Another one i had to drop was Katekiyo Hitman Reborn, that one pulls even more BS, specially because for starters mafias don't work like that, and in second place, you don't travel to the future to an alternate dimension, beat the final boss that conquered all the other dimensions, and then come back to your reality and have trouble dealing with a bunch of nobodies that were into hiding because they were too weak to openly act.

Another one i dropped? a yeah Kenichi...

Ah, how many Pokemon are there? All with different attacks? You'd think there'd be some more useless Pokemon to include than Goldeen, an Abra, Metapod... Magikarp obviously. :P

I actually never finished the first season of the anime, was posting summaries for the episodes alongside watching and felt like I didn't have time for it so I stopped watching... now that it's back on track though I might start again! I don't mind the creatively crazy plot twists, or haven't so far, the characters are just an awesome bunch of people and each episode's contained a fair dose of both action and comedy, and through all the randomness there is continuity, to a larger extent than series like Space Dandy. Thanks for the heads up. :)

But it was fun! No? Good animation quality, great voice acting... but I did like Bleach too so I guess we have some different expectations on content.

Aha.

Hitman Reborn's been on my think-I'll-watchlist for a while, but the main character's a bit like Conan, so it'd be a watch based more on plot than on character. Doesn't sound too inspiring...

A yeah shame. :/

There is an Abra in Brawl, it does nothing... but rumor has it there is a secret with him, i still have no idea, for example, Mew also does nothing, but if you are half dead and you get a Mew it heals you, as for how many pokemons, i guess some 30 or so, 40 if we count the ones that appear on the pokemon levels maybe more.

Oh Fairy tail has a plot, but no consistency, i believe the anime has changed some things and they may be beneficial, but the manga was a roller coaster, i really don't know how i went so far with it, maybe because it always felt like an introduction i never felt like i was getting closer to end the beginning of the story, and then when they finally "advance", we revert into a new "clean" start, i had to quit.

I don't know about that since i never watched the anime of Fairy Tail, i only read the manga, maybe the anime gets things done right, the animation quality, voice acting could make a difference, i even remember some people talking about Natsu using magic other than just fire magic, and for me that doesn't makes sense, because in the manga he can only use fire magic, because that is what is dragon stepfather was able to use, so apparently the anime is really another story.
As for the fun, i guess until the fight against Grimoire Heart, it kinda was, but it was from that point out that i just couldn't handle it, it made no sense even inside its own fantasy universe.

I actually think that Kenichi is better than Hitman Reborn, not because i think Kenichi to be good, but because i consider HR to be quite bad actually, you know i can admit some things to Fairy Tail it had its fun moments, it almost explained what the main story was about, i mean we know there is a magic council, there is corruption, and there are dark guilds, there are also rivalry between guilds, a mystery with the dragons, and some mystical artifacts, there is a story to tell, but it was not really told, or better said, for the moment i stopped reading it wasn't even touched, and then they go to tournament... they would never advance on any of those things, on the other hand Hitman Reborn is quite plain, plus is clear that the author has no idea what a mafia is, or what a Hitman is supposed to be, and that is just the premise of the story and he can't get it right!

Ah, Maybe Abra'll teleport under certain circumstances. That's quite a bit!

Hmm, never felt that way while watching. Already in the first episode so much was introduced, and new things keep happening. I suppose I'm not actively looking for an end to the series, like One Piece, I'd rather it never ends... but I'd also rather they don't space things out so incredibly much (Fairy Tail doesn't do that - at least).

Got it.

Yeah there's quite a lot of back story behind the lack of red thread! Word. Kenichi was awesome!

Maybe the author is intentionally not aiming for realism with Hitman Reborn? Well I haven't seen it, probably won't (in a long time at least) so I can't judge... but the warning's considered. Detective Conan had a pretty fictive criminal organization too, even though the plots are all so elaborate, it's a pretty odd combination.

Did you know that One Piece was originally planed to only go for 5 years?
My problem with FT is that i never saw any goal with it, other than Natsu's reunion with his dragon, and when they finally started advancing, they did a story reboot, and they got time locked, or better said the group who was in the Guild's secret island was sent into the future, and now they have to start as the underdogs, just because yes.

Just to put things in context, Detective Conan, did detective stuff, eve if it was unrealistic.

On the other hand Hitman Reborn, has nothing to do with neither mafias, nor hitmen, there are only 2 things, the main character is heir to an Italian mafia, because he is the chosen one, and his dad is apparently dead because he ran away to japan, other than that it has nothing to do with mafia.

I finished 3 main arcs, the 1st one when he is introduced to his powers and followers in a harem like scenario when instead of girls that fall in love with him he gets vassals (that fall in (love) loyalty with him).

Then when he defeats his rival to be the head of the family, which was done in the less mafia like way, he refuses to become the new head, even if these are hardly any mafia orgs, any way Shinji Ikari like attitude comes into him and he decides to run away from his destiny (like his dad...), another case of a main character that doesn't knows where he is going, at least Kenichi wants to be a master and defend a girl that doesn't needs to be defended... i give that series points for that, and that's it.

And then the last arc i finished: they go into the future to an alternate dimension, and defeat the ultimate bad guy who has conquered all other dimensions because his power allows him to see all the alternate dimensions at the same time... [side note: the main character's group can see in the future and past with something] so they defeat him, go back to the present, get power ups, the bad guy comes back too, he somehow seem to be now an ally of them, so what is the normal conclusion? they can see all alternative realities and into the past and future, this thing is pretty much over.

WRONG, now they go and battle an impoverished and weakened group of exiled "mafia" kids, that stole some artifacts from the family of the main character (who he is not part of), in defense of the series, the main character group is also a bunch of kids.

Unless you've said it before (I get some kind of deja vu feeling hear it now), I didn't know! It's really surpassed all expectations then.

But why do we watch series in the first place? Is there a goal with any of them? Aren't the majority of all shows, animated or otherwise, created with the intention of providing profitable entertainment? I am happy if I am entertained! I think. Only a select few shows deliver far more than I'd expect from the medium.

Hmm, it didn't seem THAT bad until they go back and fight the 'impoverished and weakened group of exiled "mafia" kids, that stole some artifacts from the family of the main character (who he is not part of)'... ah well, there's plenty of other shows to watch! I wonder btw, did you ever watch through the DB/Z/GT series? If you did, what did you think of those?

Maybe i did mentioned it before, yeah it really surpassed all expectations.

I try to watch shows because they will tell me a story, or because they just look cool as hell, then because they are entertaining, Hitman Reborn didn't had a good story, the manga looked incredible average, and as far as comedy goes or entertainment i just wasn't seeing it there.

I watched DB whole, it was good perfect mix of adventure and comedy, watched DBZ it was great so much crazy action, some times it was cheesy, some times it was a little tedious, and at times it gets really serious like when Raditz kidnaps Gohan and Goku has to kill him along with Piccolo, as for GT i didn't really liked it, for me it ended with DBZ, all those shenanigans with young Goku travelling with Pan were just... no, just no.

Word.

Mmm, I see where you're getting at. Kenichi, Bleach; Fairy Tail type anime probably falls in that second category, though the story's not inexistent either, without that it'd be difficult to relate or root for the characters therein. Maybe it's not as much about the story it tells as how well character personalities are built in, like how One Piece have near perfected that part while it is storywise actually not spectacularly innovative compared to the competition.

Ah, was thinking you'd draw some parallels to previous series here! Plot inconsistencies and stuff. I did like it though.

I agree the main story of One Piece is nothing new, but he managed to go and expose a bunch of problems that the competence doesn't even bother to look at, like: Slavery, Racism, Corruption, Thieve, Justice, Fanaticism, Censorship, Misuse of Power, Gender bias, Poverty, Oppression, the roles of science and medicine in a ever changing world (Introduction to Chopper and the story of Dr. Vega Punk), the role of destiny vs choosing for yourself (Sabo and Ace), and then of course it deals with what most do courage, honesty, appreciation of others and things (Sanji arc with food), kindness, chasing your dreams, overcome your fears (Vivi arc), ect. But it does in a different way that is both more direct and yet deep, weird enough there is a theme that One Piece has not touched, a theme that is incredible common even to the point of becoming banal and senseless if we look everywhere else, OP hasn't explored love, and i am not talking about love for adventure (classic romance), or filial love, or friendship, but love as it comes between lovers, we could say this current arc touches it, but we leave it aside for more important things.

Na with Dragon Ball no matter how much of a fan you are, you have to admit that DBZ wasn't the most consistent series, even with the existence of the Dragon Balls, but everything else made up for that incoherence, if i draw a parallel with Hitman Reborn, i find HR coming so short handed on this, that is not even fair with HR, likewise i didn't liked GT because it took those inconsistencies way too far without adding anything new to the formula, just like the last movie, that should not be named.

The competition you mean? :P Yeah that's true, never thought about how many of those elements are really included in the series... most series have some form of moral but not the entire dosage. As for love btw, maybe there will be some of that with Boa Hancock later on. :P They seem like the perfect couple. I think the reason they don't delve deeper into it though is because if they did take it seriously (they do approach the theme plenty of times in a lighter way) the atmosphere of the series would change completely, as well as relationships and priorities within the crew; maybe the viewerbse too... if they think about that.

Aha.

Yeah, we know that One Piece has talked about love, but not really paid attention to it, maybe it will leave it for after the adventure finishes, or near the end, it could even be done with characters that are not from the main crew, i agree the real danger here is the viewerbase XD.

It could take a turn for the colossally corny and ravishingly romantic. :P End of the series would be the perfect part for it, I suppose all the characters can meet with matches along the way and then towards the end their relationships all turn up to be tested. Going to be a few more years though I guess...
