also, i remember there were accounts called 'snawsmarauder' and 'snawsball' associated with an NG spam group called DuckDivison, the same group that fished and hacked 9-10 mods accounts back in 2009, if you remember.
of course, this is largely speculative, I wouldn't want you to foster illwill towards this guy if he's not actually the hacker. although he would probably welcome it seeing as he is a troll/spammer :P

Yeah, I do remember that; I remember snawsball. Sounds speculatively logical, but not enough to make me start seeking vengeance. :P I received a few PMs from another user who claimed he was the hacker back then (just a blank account), and a few suspicious people posted on my first news post (some comments I deleted though, don't recall the usernames any longer)... so, who knows. There's not much I could do anyway, unless he/they live in Sweden... which isn't very probable. Better leave justice to karma...

The beginning half of 2008 was probably the worst time of my life. Not sure why, but reading/commenting on your blogs back then always gave me some comfort. Just remembering that now, since we're sorta on the subject. So it was kinda sad to see that history erased back in 2009, but people delete their stuff on here all the time anyway! atleast archive.org manages to store some of the content from NG.

I'm glad to hear they helped you out during harsh times! NG as a whole has always been a great source of purpose for me, creating, commenting, interacting with great people and maybe even more so gathering stats/rising in ranks... admittedly there have been some real lows, like 2009, and earlier on when all the MPs were flushed out... but overall it's been and still is an inspiring and rewarding experience. Better forget the bad and remember the good right? I don't know if I'm just very obsessive about collecting things or very sentimental... or both, but I hate seeing anything disappear. Even if it's another user who ponders getting rid of their old stuff I'll probably advice against it. :P
Yupp, at least it's still all available way back in the archive. :) I skimmed through that trying to salvage what I could earlier. Most newsposts are there, but only the comments on the more popular ones... like the Guessing Games series. I thought about starting up something similar but I don't think it would gain as much popularity now as it did back then, not enough commenteers on these posts.
It's more like there's nothing else I can do, it'll take a long time to forget. :) But thanks.

Cyberdevil's brain's still the same it's not a game you see my veins in my face turn from green to a flame when I spray verbal mayhem in the way of the playpen. That's my brain, always on a run to entertain. Pomogranate grenades raining out from open safes, my inspirations preys on great video games, I'm ashamed, all I say is based on what I know and all I know is based on old knowing told, so all I really hold is flow. Yeah!
