UK and Germany are Saxon...Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russian are Slavic...
well I guess Netherlands is Saxon too but you get my point...

But wait what DOES Netherlands have in common with any of us Scandinavian spaces then? Is the language similar? Cultural similarities? Would've thought we had more in common with Slavic countries otherwise, we've had ties in the past

next question. When will Sweden be the last Nordic nation to join NATO.

*googles*

Sweden joined NATO 10 days ago WTF!

Yupp, sad reality... it's barely been on the news though surprisingly, wonder if it's because the majority actually don't seem to want to be a part of this big war machine, but what can you do... politics man

*horny content makes top 5*

Condemnations to the sinners!

I'll still Congratulate 'em tho!

Sprained ankle's better btw, all blue and purple and mutant-looking but painless, I'm out in the free world again yo!!!

< 0800 = Top of The Morning?

Top of The Morning to ye too S3C! :) Or night? Not sure.

Just woke up unnaturally early this time, and feel OK, figure I'll make the most of today.

What browser do you use the most? Google? I use Opera GX when I'm not in school.

Opera GX hmm, I feel like I heard about that one just recently, may be some else I know uses it too... currently I'm just using Chrome, definitely not the best privacy-wise but I've gotten used to it, used FireFox for the longest time before it

@Cyberdevil you should use brave lol

Oh yeah that's the other good one! I probably should, it's true, just very habitually stuck on Chrome at the mo...

I might be going to Denmark sometime this year!

Hey hey, that's @Aalasteir home turf... do you know when? Autumn/winter?

@Cyberdevil
don't accept that there is a work trip there. Probably early winter. ever been?

Don't accept? I never have been to Denmark no, not in a long time at least, possibly just in passing when we were headed out abroad somewhere back in the day..

Early winter sounds like the perfect time for a meet man. :) Whatever you might have time for of course if it's for work. If you get some travel dates and have time to spare lemme know; I'll start planning!

@Cyberdevil

wow how did I screw that up so bad. I don't know* except* that there will be a work trip there.

WTF! It's only a few hours away from Sweden though...

Aha XD

Yupp! It's close. Possible to traverse border by train, boat, plane, bus, foot... not sure which alternative's cheapest. Course you could head over here too if you have time, but would be cool to explore the the Den as well otherwise, whatever works with work and what-not hmm!

To think you may be heading all the way up here by ways of trade though... that is pretty cool.

@Cyberdevil

Foot would be the cheapest...assuming you sleep in the woods...

if (and that's a big if) I end up going will plan for visiting Germany and Sweden additionally atleast...maybe Norway too (the other work trip I mentioned in 2025)

That may be true. XD Considering ration requirements to fuel the footway maybe some transportation ticket would actually cost less though...

Ah Germany as well! I haven't been there either actually. XD Well I shall keep my fingers crossed this trips do come to fruition! Would be fun. Otherwise you're welcome here whenever, North or South or elsewhere, just lemme know if you're headed this way.

Yall talking about feet in here?

Just as a functional and affordable manner of short-term transportation! XD

What's up though Kiwi? How are you feeting these days?

@Cyberdevil im good! How’ve you been?!

Good to hear! Good here too, up at the summerplace atm. Prepping greens and scheming, seeing scenes and dreaming, watching nature growing, plowing sowing feeling, kinda worn in morning, lots of land reforming, but with surely meaning, all is pure and beaming.... least momentarily. Till mosquitoes wake and harry me...

Say are you out traveling any these days? Any trips way over to the EU on queue?

@Cyberdevil nice poetry! sounds like a good life. no trips out of the country planned currently, mainly exploring parts of the US I haven’t seen - my next stop is New Orleans in July. I’m ready for a beignet!

TY TY. :) Summer season's still the highlight of the year for sure, just gotta make this kind of life last through winter too somehow; have it equally gratifying then...

Ooh nice! Saw an old Voodoo movie I assume starred some New Orleans scenery recently, The Dead One, it was pretty bad movie-wise but the sights were nice. Seems like a fun place.

Never tried a beignet... impeccable pastries too apparently.

@Cyberdevil I love the summer. fuck winter and the cold brrrr. big voodoo scene in NoLA, yummy donuts, gumbo, beignets…idk what else but I’ll find out! ooh you gotta try one, they’re delicious!

Hell yeah! And beyond that the dark, the grey and grimy and untimely depression blimey... ey I've heard of the gumbo! Any voodoo spots you'll actually be visiting, new or old? Sounds awesome.

I shall if by no other means of trying available over here bake a beignet some day! Home made ice cream over here today, finna be making a lot more this summer, it was easier than I thought...

@Kiwi you should meet up @DrSevenSeizeMD

Maybe she knows some good voodoo spots too hmm!

@S3C @Kiwi My plan is to win the Powerball and we go on a cruise.
Girl, just be careful in New Orleans. It's a beautiful place but it's dangerous and the media does a good job covering crime up for tourism purposes. But they will mug and murder you in broad daylight down there. If you just stay in a group, you'll be fine.

Good luck with that jackpot!

Re: crime daaang, is it like that everywhere over there, tourist areas too? Interesting how you never get info on this kind of shizzle until you actually go somewhere... Dublin's supposedly dangerous too come nightfall, had no idea until I got there. But it went well. Passed by a burning car one night, that was interesting. Nice people otherwise.

@Cyberdevil I forgot the word finna was a thing bahahah your age is showing. Idk there’s an itinerary somewhere but I’m just along for the ride lmao, ill let you know when im back! homemade ice cream…how did you make it? which milky?

My age finna show way more the more I age fo shizzle! XD Youngin's finna have to adopt the superior lingo eventually! Cool cool, looking forward to hearing the deets later; hope you don't run into the wrong people over there. :)

Just regular cream, sugar, eggs and a little Madagascar vanilla powder. Whipped up cream and eggs/sugar separately, carefully mixed 'em together and that was it, way easier than I thought it'd be. :) Consistency pretty fluffy, though it layered a bit, need to mix better next time.

Finna experiment with random chopped up nuts and berries and chocolate and streaks of jam and what not this summer, potential flavor combinations seem endless!

Seems you might've made your own already too? Different mix? The random recipe I Googled up's in Swedish, but if you're curious: https://victoriasprovkok.se/2020/05/enkel-kramig-vaniljglass-utan-glassmaskin.html

@DrSevenSeizeMD @Cyberdevil @S3C hell yeah I love cruises! oooh yeah I read articles during Mardi Gras about how crazy it gets but specifically did not want to go during Mardi Gras. I just wanna eat some food and enjoy a weekend of not working xD
