That ambient bit was something else! Love the guitar all the way, but those other bits it doesn't really seem to sync with the beat... it's like they're both struggling to match together.

Soulful otherwise.

A long and mostly silent ending... starts good though.

It's like a whole mesh of DOOM inspirations in this one. :D Starts atmospheric too. Just gotta stick to a structure and build...

Beginning really reminds me of one of the DOOM tracks. Could go places with this one!

Feelgood little chiptune bit. :) Impressive how consistent the sound is too. You rarely see frequency ranges as blocky as this!

And the tone... it's like a slow and hesitant exploration...r refreshingly different. Though towards the end... seems to lose structure a bit...

Feelgood vibes! Upbeat. almost VG like clarity in part, though maybe a bit sharp with the latter half. Good stuff.

Also Happy B-Day @LobsterMango!

This might come in handy some time... crisp quality, though bit of clipping.

It really does put you in a good mood! The way it builds too, just better and better all the wy till that grand finale, until the ambient outro where all fades away...

I really like the sound design with this. Feels like it could be from a video game, but still there's something different about it... it's like Mario World and House mixed together... may seem simple but when you really take in all the nuances, the little notes that hit and make sure it's never in the same pattern too long, very non-tradition for the genre... feels special.

Had to listen a few times to be sure I'm not giving it too high praise but... it really is dynamic. The mixing's clear. The frequencies never clip. If there's any downside maybe it's that you just can't turn this TOO high, as sharp as the sound design is.

Part of me wishes it would get even more energetic somehow, speed up, for the percussion to really take a front seat, but as far as ambience goes it can't really get better than this. Impressive start. Dreamy and inspiring. 2020 might not be all bad after all.

DJ-DG responds:

Thanks so much man! Yes, I learned some new techniques for sound design and mixing and I decided to apply them here... glad it seems to have turned out well!
Stay safe and take care during these tough times!

Smooth, clean, ambient, uplifting, albeit maybe just a bit monotone... not bad.

DJVI responds:

Thank you! I have also made a Can't Let Go 2.0 remix which is very different!

An air of eerie in a...classy, jazzy kind of way. Pretty unorthodox, doesn't seem structured particularly for listening pleasure, but it was fun to listen to. Wonder how this'd do as soundtrack for some spooky kind of game...

Feels like it'd work well with something abstract. Day of the Tentacle sort of. Good stuff.

Thanks for the review!
Feels like forever that I made this. Gotta get back back up on that horse.
