Too true! Just being out the real world these days, seeing how everyone's buried on their phone, so close yet so distant... and yet it's a norm now; that's how people are used to interacting. Doesn't seem either healthy nor productive, and the mainstream media we're exposed to almost seems designed to dumb us down; keep us fed with this false loop of engagement; social circles...

With moderation though, tech doesn't need to be so bad. Feels like this could also be a representation of a world where we're still the ones in control. Still close to nature. Still appreciate innovation but don't let it control us; feed us a lifestyle that in many ways just feels devoid of purpose; severs our connection to what is real.

Thank you! They're Robotnik's henchmen goons from the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon. They did make an appearance in the Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine video game, but it's not exactly "iconic." Heh.

Meika looking goood! Nice angle, and as always you manage a warm and summery atmosphere with the background and splash... even if the water's maybe not the most realistic in this one. A bit too dark blue, possibly...? Not sure what it is.

I like the style, the sparkles, all the loot on the ground - not just in cash form but in gold and rubies, circular ornaments that look both fancy and intrinsically round and stylish... even Pac-Man currency! XD

This blends worlds in such a wonderful way - and looks great! Nice work.

I don´t like to use flat shadows on my draws but it ended very well, I used many parts of Shantae outfits during her games for this one and the currency was idea of the person that ask me for the commission.

At the end everything looks excelent.
