Carmine's looking feisty too! All that gloss on the suit, almost looks like latex... could she be a... dominatrix? :P

Nice work!

Finasty responds:

My artstyle has some sort of gloss in it
Edit: Infact, my artstyle comes with different references (even coloring too) that's why you see gloss on the outfits

Same OC as in your avatar? Can't tell for sure, seems like a potential chibi version of this one there... she does look a bit like Bulma too. :P

Whomever she is she do look good! Feisty form, pose that feels alive, smooth line work, fireworks turned out well too, though could've maybe had a few more in the mix? The one to the bottom right looks a little alone there. :)

Happy New Year Finasty! Good stuff.

Finasty responds:

Yes, the one that's is in my profile pictures

I just can only make the fireworks just like explosion like that and doesn't know the rest, bcoz that's my first time doing it, like the splatter thingy for fireworks

Thanks for checking my art :)

I think I recognize this dragon hmm... took me a while to place it as the one of the movie though! Looks a little like Mushu from Mulan too.

And again you have a very different kind of style here... nice work on the scale details, and shading that makes all body parts look a bit like plates, chiseled; shielding, good form for a dragon. A dreamy landscape in back, a hopeful sun peeking through a mist of imagination...

Really cool scene. The detail's impressive on all parts, tree roots too, realistic clouds... nothing feels left out here. And the style... almost like a tribal painting somehow. Something from older times. Works well with the theme.

tobne responds:

Yeahh haha, it was mostly in the side show for the movies anyways! Wouldn't blame you for not getting it immediately, not like it isn't a Nadder or Night Fury off the top XD
Ohh it does look like Mushu now that you mention it!

Yeah! This is my style I had/have before the one I've been using for the Behemoth styled art! Lineless is such a wonderful challenge to work with. Awhh man you compliment my art so much it's amazing :sob:

Dude thank you so so much!! You really made my day! :D

This style of coloring, woah... so smooth and vibrant and purple on the right, so much noise/texture/raster and sandpaper color on the left side... masterful clash of styles and motives here. I don't know about the expressions and all but the drawing's so good...

Royal-Deluxe responds:

I'm squashing her face, that's why she looks weird

Is a beak a mouth hmm. Had to Google... a beak, a bill, or a rostrum is the nose and mouth of a bird. Ah. It terminologically qualifies.

Interesting arrangement here, though gory indeed. Carcass huh, I'm a have a listen sometime.

TheMiamiDeSantos responds:

Thanks! Carcass is a very heavy band, old school grindcore/death metal, fast, low-fi haha, i love that band, the cover of their 1988 album "Reek of Putrefaction" is a big inspiration for me, it's aesthetic, after you take a look at the cover you will remember of some of my stuff haha https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSzVyxlhq4o

It kiiinda bounces? :P Seems like that butt's a little too tense/unwilling to be slapped, or the GIF speed a bit too fast and makes the bounce shorter than would be ideal, but otherwise smooth!

-cd-

TheMiamiDeSantos responds:

yeah i think it's too fast indeed, i think i used as a reference a butt in a jeans being slapped while a butt showing more skin should bounce more. Thanks for the heads up!

Beetle eggs like: it's an insect also?

The car design's here is hella impressive, great detail, lines seem a little blurry though, and I wonder if the white lines would look better if they were a little stronger - almost seems like they're outlines you tried to draw over more so than lighting.

But overall so dope. Love the old brand VW cars too.

-cd-

TheMiamiDeSantos responds:

the car reflection is something that always bug me while i try to do, i never achieved cool results trying to do the reflectons, so i do it like the old GTA games (san andreas, vice city, gta 3), where the cars have no reflection just textures trying to resemble some generic reflection and dirt

Dammmn man, this is pretty violent. XD Reminds me of the old days of NG, though I'm not entirely certain that's an entirely good thing, sometimes things were edgy just to be edgy, but back then I also was pretty edgy so...

Anyhow, motive: doesn't believe her eyes so she just takes them out huh? Macabre; sinister stuff... the detail's impressive but maybe a bit much gore for me...

-cd-

TheMiamiDeSantos responds:

thanks! i used to love gore, now i ain't as much into it like i was back on my teen days, i still put gorey stuff on my animated series just cuz it started with a lot of gore stuff (now it less) and i got some good practice on drawing gore, i like to draw gore it's fun

I can see the 'Boing'! :3

Reminds me a bit of Betty Boop too... love the style. I'm into the same old things so this is just perfect. Managed a creative angle on that gun too.

I'd like to see more of her! Nice work.

-cd-

TheMiamiDeSantos responds:

yeah, i think JP did inspired her on betty boop. I love old things, old cars, old guns, old movies, old videogames. I love old guns, this one is a brazilian derringer, we call here "garrucha", it's like a miniature of double barreled shotgun chambered on a old caliber called 380 back then (somekind of brazilian 38 short colt clone)

...and it turned out really good too! Drawn in a style that makes it seem almost like a 3D render in early games or Blender. Imagine this animated, a part of a car chase or similar...

You even managed the shadows correctly.

Feels like the gray house on the first left corner may not have the right angle entirely, and the highrises further off aren't really even, but the street/fences/nearby surrounding looks great! And the cars specifically. This really turned out well.

And a preview of the ep wait what maybe this really is animated too! :O

-cd-

TheMiamiDeSantos responds:

thanks, well it gonna be just a background hehe, i'm not good at drawing perspective, i already do some mistakes on it while taking a lot of time drawing, making animations on perspective would be a lot more of time. I think that's why they do stuff like cars and city streets on 3D
