Comments

Great job!

Thanks!

HAMMERTIME.

BREAK IT DOWN!

Awesome! congrats..
i'm only level 6 :P

Thanks man. Just takes a decade of dedicated EXP collectin' and that'll be 60! :)

You wanna trade levels? :U

With anyone who wields the legendary level 60, hell yeah! ;)

''its hammer time ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)''

Go with the flow in a spin if you can't move to this
Then you probably are dead
So wave your hands in the air
Bust through the moves run your fingers through your hair
This is it for a winner
Dance to this and you're gonna get thinner

(Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh)
Stop Hammer time

I trade yah level with a hat

Better be a hat of gold ;)

Great gain! I've just half your axe ;)

And it's gold too! ;) Still feels unreal finally getting to the 50's... btw, do both of you work on depositing EXP? Do you maybe take turns? Level 23 after two years seems like steady progress!

Good job.
Still got I think either 25 or 35 more days til my next level up.

Thanks man. Gets easier when you stop counting the days, just make it automatic! ;)

Yeah thats true. Though I tend to not pay attention to how much time I have left til I level up. But sometimes when I see I'm at an amount til my next level that it something like 150 or 200 or whatever I have a habit of getting enthused about the fact I'm going to be leveling up in x amount of days.

I'm weird when it comes to 5s and 0s and whatnot. Hell when I was able to scrobble stuff on last.fm still I tried to get it so all the bands I had on there had their playcounts end in either a 5 or 0. And I sometimes go nuts inside my head whenever I see an album that is like 4, 6, or even 11 songs. Don't know why. Don't even know why I went off on this unrelated tangent...

Ah yeah, I can relate to that! I usually start counting down when I get close, and some times right after, or when I'm nearing a phase-changing number like 10k. With this one level it's been such a routine I leveled up without noticing though, just saw that double-axe icon one day and... woah! It's that time already! :D Hope I can forget about the time next time as well...

Sounds like one of those unexplainable OCD things. ;) Looking through albums I'm currently listening to hmm... only 2/10 have amounts that end with 5's or 0. Must be getting on your nerves. :P On last.fm, did you play each album/artist/playlist/thing an additional four times every time you listened to it? Or just click to even things out?

Awesome dude :D
I'm currently halfway to 60. Such a long.......... road.

Thanks man!
The further you go... the longer it gets. ;)

Congrats bro :D

Thanks bro! :D

Haha yeah I can definitely relate to the post thing. I don't really pay much attention though if I'm nearing some random hundred or thousand mark. BUT. In about 100 posts I will hit my 15k post mark. Which is a bigger deal to me than when I hit 11, 12, 13, or 14k.

Yeah it is. And I don't even really seek out albums with those specific number of tracks on em. It's more or less a coincidence that a lot of my albums have about that many tracks. As for last.fm what I did was if I felt like listening to a certain band, say Electric Wizard, I'd take more than one album or take an album an EP and maybe a single and put it all together til I had an amount that ended with a 5 or 0. cause I'm just weird like that.

Was still speaking about levels there, but that definitely applies even more to posts, where you're constantly reminded of your count each time you type something down. :P That'll be something to wi/ht about! :D As I'll probably miss the official announcement, here's an early congrats!! I've been ducking over and under 22,660 for what feels like months now myself, apparently it takes more than an average 1.5 posts/day to even keep your postcount. :/

Maybe something with the Heavy Metal genre in particular? I looked up some random albums when you mentioned that, found a couple Metallica ones with exactly ten tracks. In hiphop in particular it seems unusual with anything less than 14, but there is that one classic Nas - Illmatic with the perfect ten. ;) And Bullmatic, this year, Otherwise, feels rare! Haha, must be an annoying habit to have, but makes for some entertaining conversations! :D How is it with you and stats btw, do you want those to always end in 0s or 5s as well? Applicable to all areas of life or just music? Oh btw, could this in any way be inspired by NGs 0-5 voting system? I probably have some similar OCD things, like how I can revise a blog post, and then start with the next, and then go right back to the first again just to see it's right, and move forward, and then go back again again... though, that' doesn't sound half as interesting. :P Trying to break that habit.

How annoying is it coming here and voting every day?

After a while you become simply robot. Stop thinking. Stop minding. Keep voting. Keep grinding. Till time ends. Still smilin'. ;)

Ohh, gooold!

No, I'm in charge of the mainsite, NG, dA, YT, Patreon and Vimeo while my brother of Renderosity, Mod/IndieDB, ShareCG, DAZ and Torque (Garage games) communities... just an attempt to organize everything.

:D

Ohh you really are organized! Even with the more entertaining aspects of the business! Though, maybe voting power is more of a practical use for you guys? ;)

Hey, sweet on that level achievement.

Thanks!

Yes, despite all, we're always and "evil corporation" ;)

Haha, indeed :D

Hammerific my man, good show! Haven't spoken to you since I was supposed to have moved elsewhere, just before Christmas. It's been a really tough time, still is. I know you'd have taken the time to talk about it with me, I didn't want to burden you.

Hey, at least I got GTA V on PC, got it 3 days before Pico day, took 5 hours to install (2hrs for the dvd's) The gameplay is a bit vague on details in spots, but I'm not willing to read a walkthrough just yet :\

Thank you! Been a while indeed! Sorry to hear the times are still trialed and troublesome. From your recent posts the scenario seemed a bit more positive. Just saw your footage in that Anniversary Tribute btw, an inspiring speech there! Still wondering about that comment order thing... something you'd rather not speak about? Seeing as comment was so mysteriously skipped...

Ah nice! I still haven't mustered up the time to get started with that masterpiece yet myself, soon as I have a streak of free days I hope to sit down and really take it all in! If it had been released a couple of years ago when it was first promised I'd have probably jumped on it right away, but now... I can wait a while longer. ;)

He should just put it back to the way it was, but he's looking at order buttons, so... not something I could really get into with Tom or Liljim at Pico day or the 20th Tribute thing, ya know? I did bring it up, as politely as possible. Maybe it's part of the portable format package, idk, but it's gotta happen PDQ!

It runs great, no complaints, except for the download installer thing... I had a 350mb segment that had to be downloaded, and it would go to 35mb... and then back down to 33? 31? 35?!! So I backed out, logged in tried again, and it loaded and installed fine.

You have to DL about 6gb from Rockstar, after you've installed the 7 (seven) double density dvds... I have a BDVD player/burner, shame they didn't issue a few of those |:

At first, I wondered if I'd be man enough to tame this game... so far, so good! Only got eaten by cougars twice while hunting |:

Ah, well that's even better! As long as the preferences are saved somehow so you don't need to toggle anew on each page. Good news. Relief. Calm! Peace of mind. A change for the better order. Since he never posted in the topic about it I was thinking he'd made up his mind... glad to hear it wasn't so!

Hmm sounds like that was an official download installer thing too? Weird stuff! I don't like the idea of having to rely on an online source to install a game, not just considering bandwidth restrictions, but as in: will that thing still be working properly in a few more decades? Sounds like an effective way of forcing people to buy an upgraded/re-released/collectors' edition product when the time comes, but maybe it's more just an attempt at keeping people from pirating the file.

lol, savage world! :D

Well, he said he'd look into it, in a response to me, on his 2nd to last news post. Shame we forgot about getting more coffee, there's a dinky single serve machine upstairs, but everyone liked leaning against that part of the upstairs office...

It's terrible to have to accept such a strong leash on a game. When logging on (necessary to open the game, uses a discreet Chrome thing for the Social Club), it barely sends or receives much info at all! I'd like to get a logon crack, just in case the internet goes out, I can still play :\

Hmm I can't seem to find that comment, skimmed through his last five posts... it can't have been that far back can it? Response via PM? Was hoping to read the more precise and word-by-worded confirmation for sense of certainty. ;)

Yeah, if there aren't working cracks already for full-offline play I hope they fix some soon. There should be a pretty large demand at least, with this one specific game! GTA V is one of few games I wouldn't mind actually buying new, but they should give their customers a little more freedom anyway, mutual respect, it should be a win-win situation for both parties. Even if game content itself is awesome, doesn't mean the user should be bound by such severe access restrictions and lack of portability.
