A fantastic feature of fantasy! The way that pillar rises makes it seem almost like it's a materialization in the middle of the mountains, not the swirling tornado of rage and energy that it is. The ghostly giants are a nice touch, and the description makes the picture seem all the more profoundly poetic! Both nicely written and drawn, all of it.

I'm glad you like it! Like I said, a lot these descriptions in the script I considered literature in themselves from their more poetic or narrative approach, but that's just how it came out when describing these scenes to myself.

A beautiful and grotesque artwork at the same time. It seems to sybmolize both life and rebirth, the cycle of nature and all living things, and at the same time the colors, the darkness and tumor-like growths are a ghastly reminder of the other side, the antonym of life, the end. Love the attention to detail in this, incredibly rich and fascinating!

I like your description of its imagery, yes, just as man Adam was made from the dust of the Earth, he shall go back to it in the form of decay and death.

I appreciate your feedback, and for scouting me!

That's a loong time back! Would be interesting to know how your artworking has progressed since then, if it has? Looks like something you might see illustrated in a book. Shadowy, gritty; simple. Nice work!

Cyberdevil, your review is so appreciated. Thank you kindly. I know there are very many more talented artists than me... My works are trivial at best compared to you and the likes found here. I was so terrified to post this particular piece, as for me... I consider this one to be my very best work I've ever done. I really did pour my heart out on it. I know that there are many more talented artists than I.... but for me, this is my best.

"Illustrated in a book" ......... oh my, I will admit, you made me smile ear to ear with that comment. Thank you. =-)

Was so kind of you to take the time to check my art out.... I so very appreciate it. Thank you Cyberdevil. Thank you. =-)

Could always try coloring it digitally, that way there'd be no harm to the original if it gets quirky. :) It's a neat drawing, high-tech and detailed! Wonder if you had any reference or just drew straight from imagination (in which case the details are all the more awing in drawing)? Keep it going!

Thank you for all your kind words. I did take inspiration from the cover art of one of my favorite games, ** MetalStorm ** on the original NES. I do wish I had more talent at using computers to put color on a PC to my work. I'm kind of old-school... but I do remember how much I enjoyed drawing this. I would love to see someone who knows more about modern computers color it... just for fun. Thank you so, so much for taking the time to notice. ^.^

This is probably my favorite one of the ones you've posted so far. Not sure if it's the fact that it's a portrait, or if I just like that stylistically solid fading. She (?=) definitely has a well-drawn gaze too. Nice shading all around the eyes.

Cyberdevil, thank you for taking the time to absorb the piece that I submitted. I was very nervous to post this one... I wasn't sure how it would be received by anyone viewing it. Yeah, the model is a "she" from the 80's or so. Thank you for noticing the eyes... it was my main focus in this piece. And thank you so very much for really taking the time to do your review. Was really cool of you. =-)

All those sails! It's a nice ship. Only thing that's a bit strange here is the outline of that skyscape, the edges of it, might not be so apparant if the top wasn't as flat as it is. Also, would've been neat to view this stuff in a somewhat larger resolution, one that filled the image box width at least. Any chance you have larger scans? Nice work!

Beer-Drinker responds:

Cyberdevil, thank you for the honest review. I very much appreciate you taking the time to write something more than "cool drawing" ... not that a review of that nature is unwanted, but you actually took some time to view, and contemplate what you typed. Really cool of you. Thank you so very much. =-)

Yeah... I'm still trying to figure out the best size to make the images. Seems that NG has it set up for a perfect square only. I could make it bigger... I'm just afraid it may distort the image. I'll try working on it though.

Again, thank you so much for the review. ^.^

Definately the best one so far! :D Nice work(s).

Never really realized those are probably night-vision goggles he's wearing, not radioactively luminescent green eye globes popping out of his goggles... as they may seem to eh... at least one person. Another good one!

A Bedn pose and a glass of bear. :D I'm digging these stylishly stylized Tankmen portraits!
