lmao. XD Says it all without really saying anything! Making one-panel strips like this with such a strong pun in an art in itself, and it looks good too! Genius.

Thanks for thinking we are better writers than we really are, but there are two more panels in this strip if you follow the link to the website. Those panels might ruin the illusion of genius if you see them. We are glad you got some enjoyment out of it though! We just want to make people laugh! Thanks again!
A bizarrely creative piece of Valentine's art! Plenty of fish in the sea indeed, but that little fish doesn't seem to be seeing the full picture... though I do wonder what all the carcasses of previously deceptive dates are doing clinging on to her fin like that... shouldn't they have been quickly consumed and deviously digested? Are they trophies, or maybe a subtly inconsistent detail there just to clarify what's about to happen next in the sea scene we see? Nice work!

I had a feeling people wouldn't get this pic, since that's the first thing people think about for angler fish.
All I will say is that the way angler fish reproduce ... is unusual. Which is why I thought it was worth drawing for Valentine's Day. ;)
Character and color design test looks good! The sketchy style works well, and it's always interesting how so contrasting colors (like the orange highlights for lighting) can look so natural when by themselves they seem to stand out so much. Nice grassy texture on the ground too. Keep it going!

A beautiful pin-up! Just something about that demonic skin tone that makes her all the more alluring. Though, I guess it could be just regular sunburn. :P Or maybe the sensational sensual angle. Now that Vic E mentions it the shades do seem to bend a bit disproportionately on that one side, but I'm not bothered by clothes or foot. Wonder what that lone tentacle is doing there hmm. Nice work!

Happy Birthday to anyone in particular? Would've pondered Nintendo if the one in the middle wasn't wearing Mickey Mouse ears. :P Cute little drawing!

Happy Birthday to all the chicks.
Aah, so that's why this art is suddenly looking so much smoother than usual! This looks awesome. The divide between the characters is seemless and suble, though not sure that dark brush on the fiery background to the right works as good as it could, maybe just darker red? Or a darker background overall, it layers a bit over the orange color.
Love the swirls on the right part, the faces of course - main focus, and the background to the left in particular, really nice blend of light. Nice work!

Sounds like an interesting comic idea! First thing that strikes me is how fluffy Ben's hair seems. Could be just the shape of his head of course, but it feels disproportionately large considering his face. Nice work on the characters otherwise, on the light and shadow, strong facial features, and even the stuble! Nice attention to detail! I like the grey/brown color scheme and somber setting too.
That 'Jeanette please come back to me!' text has some letters that seem to fade away more than others btw. Nice work! Is this a comic that'll be coming to NG too?
