A pretty fierce work of a tiger! Looking at it like this, with the sketchy blotches not yet smoothened, it's almost like you just took a photo and traced the bitmap (a common method in Flash back in the day, to recreate images without copyright), but the tongue and teeth break the illusion. Looks like it'll look pretty awesome when finished!

Clootie responds:

Thanks very much for your feedback! I'm aware of the tracing technique, but that's kinda cheating in my opinion. I did however use a photograph as reference in a separate window. You'll see I also have an early sketch on Newgrounds of this tiger which acted as my guide for this.

I see what you mean about the tongue and teeth breaking the style somewhat. I hadn't thought or noticed that, so thank you for that observation! I think I'll simplify those to be more in keeping with the rest of it.

Thanks again.

One mighty big butterflyish bonnet for this finely outlined madame! Looks good.

Clootie responds:

Haha! Thank you!

My younger sister got married a year ago, so I've been creating a series of simple portraits of main family members. Hoping to make a huge collage and having it printed as an interesting anniversary present lol

Thanks again for your kind words.

A cat.. all of a sudden? :O The glasses in this one are really the coolest part, such a simple detail as a reflection of clutter-free clarity amidst the craze of question marks and fierce frown, in a slightly brighter shade... it feels relatable, and looks awesome! Definite favorite so far.

Looks like you draw a lot of dugs huh! I like the color in this one, the glow, the red eye, the... gas-spilling scenario with lighter in hand that I somehow didn't perceive as out-of-the-ordinary-suicidally-psychotic until I'd been staring at the thunder and lightning for a while! Nice work.

Hehe i dont just draw drugs if one might say. :P Anyways glad you like it! This dog might seem innocent at the first look, but he realy is the devil. You should check out some of the episodes on adultswim! This dog is capable of many things one might definetly not expect... Its quite a twisted show and thats what i like about it. :)

I like the occasional splatter of red on the otherwise sepia-colored canvas... and such much detail! A crazy, dystopian cityscape with a lot to look at. Nice work!

Some awesome things happened back in 1987... or so I hear! Pretty groovy sketch here, colorful and ehh sketchy. At first, the collar on the left felt like a sleeve, and thus it seemed like he should have one more arm at least glimpsable but... the illusion faded quick. Looks good!

This is one savory pixel cupcake! :D

Thanks!

A pretty life-like portrait, in that realistically cartoony style that really isn't realistic but... still feels like it somehow! I'm not sure about the white strands of hair though, the longer I look, the more they seem to stand out unnaturally, guess black would've been the more common choice? Nice work overall!

Classy artwork for a classy character! :D The white lines on the hacket feel a bit rushed once you really start looking at the picture, but everywhere else that sketchy style works well, especially the text, stylish scribbling skills!

Let's see, out of these 50 films I have seen... Pulp Fiction, Aguire, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, 2001, Back To The Future, Withnail & I, Alien, Apocalypse Now, Casablanca, The Wizard Of Oz, Chinatown, Citizen Kane, Up, This Is Spinal Tap, Fight Club, Cabaret, Dawn Of The Dead, Brazil, Pan's Labyrinth, Shawshank Redemption, Scarface, King Of COmedy, Trainspotting, The Usual Suspects, Donnie Darko (almost didn't see that one - I mean the text is tiny for some of these), Silence of The Lambs, Princess Mononoke, Life Of Brian, The Terminator aaand that's it. The ones I remember at least. I went on a marathon of old classics a few years back so I might have seen more but that I don't recall the titles of.

If I'd list 50 movies that must be seen I imagine the list would be a bit different though, a lot of martial arts classics, a lot of action, more movies that mess with your mind (well, Fight Club's a good one in that category). Current favorite is without doubt Inception, and among other recommendations I think I'dinclude Looper, Bad Boys 2, Addams Family and Chennai Express. In the list about Scarface is probably the one movie that impacted me the most; Al Paccino's most impeccable performance. Aaanyway, this was a nice poster! Though it would've been cool with some imagery, a collage of posters or something, since titles aren't always at the top of your mind. Nice work.

Decky responds:

I know what you mean about the collage idea and some of my earlier sketches were leaning towards something in that vein but I really wanted to do something as a homage to Saul Bass. As for some of the text being small when printed out at it's A3 it's all clear, maybe it's the PNG file. Also I wasn't going for the titles to be read by that I mean that they are the lowest in the hierarchy of information.

Keep watching those films man and cheers for the review.
