Another awesomely creative sketch! It's like symbolic of: eating your darkness. Becoming a being of joy and light and only good things! Also interestingly lizard-like shadow. At first I thought the head was a curled up tale. Backwards.

Digging the mesh of watery color and contrast. Two upside down thing would work well on aplaying card btw, maybe a fitting queen/joker? Nice work.

What a tragic piece! :( Such profound depth and sadness... though the ice cream somehow doesn't look as liquid as it might, more like a withering plant than a slippery cream of splattering substance. Nice piece though! And at the time of writing, the first Inktober tagged sketch in the AP. ;) Though seems it's changing often...
