Dammmn man, this is pretty violent. XD Reminds me of the old days of NG, though I'm not entirely certain that's an entirely good thing, sometimes things were edgy just to be edgy, but back then I also was pretty edgy so...

Anyhow, motive: doesn't believe her eyes so she just takes them out huh? Macabre; sinister stuff... the detail's impressive but maybe a bit much gore for me...

thanks! i used to love gore, now i ain't as much into it like i was back on my teen days, i still put gorey stuff on my animated series just cuz it started with a lot of gore stuff (now it less) and i got some good practice on drawing gore, i like to draw gore it's fun

I can see the 'Boing'! :3

Reminds me a bit of Betty Boop too... love the style. I'm into the same old things so this is just perfect. Managed a creative angle on that gun too.

I'd like to see more of her! Nice work.

TheMiamiDeSantos responds:

yeah, i think JP did inspired her on betty boop. I love old things, old cars, old guns, old movies, old videogames. I love old guns, this one is a brazilian derringer, we call here "garrucha", it's like a miniature of double barreled shotgun chambered on a old caliber called 380 back then (somekind of brazilian 38 short colt clone)

...and it turned out really good too! Drawn in a style that makes it seem almost like a 3D render in early games or Blender. Imagine this animated, a part of a car chase or similar...

You even managed the shadows correctly.

Feels like the gray house on the first left corner may not have the right angle entirely, and the highrises further off aren't really even, but the street/fences/nearby surrounding looks great! And the cars specifically. This really turned out well.

And a preview of the ep wait what maybe this really is animated too! :O

TheMiamiDeSantos responds:

thanks, well it gonna be just a background hehe, i'm not good at drawing perspective, i already do some mistakes on it while taking a lot of time drawing, making animations on perspective would be a lot more of time. I think that's why they do stuff like cars and city streets on 3D

In a dual sense here? All the plastic = killing our planet? The environmental carnage that humankind continually partakes in sullying the oceans in a more aggressively visual way - a sea of blood and gibs among the bottles?

Suppose there may be more context in the animation but... I'd like to think of it that way. Works well as sustainability symbolism and shizzle. Nicely done.

TheMiamiDeSantos responds:

yeah there is more context on the animation hehe, but nice way to describe it indeed! and the people are looking fine on the beach with all the littering and corpse parts

Seems she'd be a perfect match for Salad Fingers :) Intriguing design...

Hyouka Fuwa looking good! Though tired... maybe that's her character hmm.

-cd-

TheMiamiDeSantos responds:

hehe i never watched the anime, my friend felipecrespito did request me to draw her, so i google some images, she looked tired on most of the images with the eyes like that

That Mordecai stare lmao. XD

Pretty cool gathering, and nicely drawn, even if one looks more like a photo...

TheMiamiDeSantos responds:

yeah the goose teeth is an image, i got at the time to do that scene and i was thinking "what funny and/or interesting birds i can put there?", those 4 were what i could thought

Eyy there's my square and spongy namesake! :D

This was nice. I recognize Nemo (looking unusually psychotic though somehow) and Sponge, and the Clown fish as a fish, the others were new to me...

The eyes... the level of detail with those eyes is pretty impressive!

Digging the overall design here, though I feel like the flames get in the way. Feels messier than need be; you don't really get to appreciate the background for all it is. BUT as a still frame this is hella impressive. All this detail in each frame. Damn man. Curious how long an animation typically takes you to make?

Intriguing promo for the full motion compilation in which it is but a brief piece too, you wonder how this all comes to be there...

-cd-

TheMiamiDeSantos responds:

thanks! i tried to make it looks like how it's described on the bible (Ezekiel 1), like radiant creatures, full of flames and sparkles. Well it appears like that on the animation this cherubium one doesn't move. The longer eps usually takes some months to be made

Not so common with pajamas that include a headpiece these days! Zit looking good here too, almost doesn't need that pajamas...

TheMiamiDeSantos responds:

oh yeah, that clothing is to look similar to the clothes of Patchouli from touhou project, touhou is one of my inspirations i did a little reference
