ice character art, smooth typography and background fade, though would probably have looked better if she continued on to the bottom of the canvas... either way looking good!

thank so much really appreciate!
Dave really should watch what he eats. XC Apart from that somewhat nauseating finale this was waaay better than expected. Such length. Such backstory. Such spontaneous wit (as always), and that introductory nightmare... wonder if it'll play a part in one of these future episodes hmm... the cast's refreshingly jumbled up too. Not just the typical duo. Looking forward to seeing how this all unfolds! :) Wonder if there's a set amount of chapters planned btw? All scripted? Storyboarded? Curious how spontaneous or planned the process is for longer stories like this.

Whole thing's been scripted more or less.
lmao. XD I didn't even know that was a word... genius end. Wonder if the whole premise about the poisoned coffee was made just to have an excuse to add said word into said context hmm... good stuff.

That took a turn for the unexpected pretty quick. XD Interesting with a more slice-of-life style comic in the Dave & Carl universe, actually featuring totally different characters than the main cast too... btw it looks like they just MADE a new window! Panorama style.

Finally piece really turned out pretty well, compared to the previous! I like how the darkness seems to envelop the characters, and the aura she radiates... maybe a bit much with the rainbow, though? Nice piece.

...and now with the sharp green! Woah. Sharp. Makes sense to use that as a green screen though.

Pretty good work with the coloring so far, gradients and silhouettes and all...

With that blush he/she's suddenly not looking so mischievous after all. :) Nice drawing!

Simple but... not bad! I like the simplicity with the outlines and shading, and the blurred shadow... only the yoyo seems to be out of style, and maybe there'd be a way to make it seem like it's at least rotating? Keep up the good work!
-cd-
Wow sorry for a late reply. Thank you very much for such good observations jajaja.... you're right, the yoyo it's out of style, I usually draw it in a diferent perspective but I got lazy a the moment of drawing. I cant remember, this is actually a ver old image.
Interesting to see how these things take form! Good coloring, though curious about the line work: is it custom as well? Or for the contest?
