So this is where it began. :) Definitely a bit more refined with the newer version, and with more intentional a divide, but this one's refreshing too in how it's NOT. The island and eye are s nice bit amidst the surrounding chaos. I like the stars. So many messages here too. Wyclef Jean song reference with 'The Sweetest Girl'? As for the others, foreign and strange... interesting collage/canvas/doodlemesh.

Thanks, the interesting thing about this piece is that it was actually inspired by the worst mistake of my life. Poor 2009 sevenseize. If only she'd known. :-)

Woah, this was... something else! Reminds me of a recent yurgenburgen piece hmm... potential inspiration? The detail's just incredible. Patterns, flowers, leafs, suggestive symmetry, eyes, text, a Spanish poem about a lost woman? Lies? As always heavy with symbolism, and so much to look at it. The poem in the description hmm... wasn't the impression I was getting from the artwork! But both are great. Really like how the tapestry's all fanned out with the inner V too. Would be great even if it was all just a mesh, but that particular divide adds in a layer... of something. Inspiring. Also is this hand-drawn? Marker? Amazing work.

As much as I LOVE yurgenburgen, the burgenest of yurgens, this is something I've been doing for decades. I have some I made from like 2008 I think if you look back in my art. :-)
The poem is lyrics to a song, Him & I by Halsey, it was stuck in my head, so I listened to it like 20 times will making this.
The "feel" you got from this piece is probably correct. There's a lot I needed to get out.
There's also a secret message in binary and a shoutout to cast.
It is completely hand drawn, using a precise blank ink pen, tip size fine, from Target.
I did use my wacom to fix a few mistakes, as ink doesn't erase. :-)

Seems like a pretty strong foe! Or friend if outer appearances may misguide? And a strong-looking stronghold awaiting ahead too...

Background texture's almost like paper... and pretty interesting work with the hair too. I really like the hair, but the face overall feels a bit plasticy, and the eyes... it's like they're glazed over with plastic wrap or something (especially zoomed in). O_o Think that reflection effect came off a bit wrong but otherwise... not bad.

Green and good-looking! What a contrast between the green character and the other two, the one to the right in particular really stands out with that brighter shade. All green characters seem to have that old GB style of green, so it's like a clash of generations too, somehow. Nice designs though! Happy Day!

It's Happy Saint Patrick's Day to you too.

The silhouettes of mighty dragons floating in the sky... or wait, one of them's just a man on a mountain. The mist and clouds that drift bring it all together... another mighty piece, with the contrast between man and dragon making it all the mightier! The textures seem more realistic on the mountain than the dragon, and the backpacker a bit more detailed, but it is a stunning piece.

Smooth and good-looking! Warm color too. Nice work.

The one side-effect of birds. XD Could've been such a cute portrait but...

So much detail in the textures, and the dark red, Beautiful work.
