Such an exceptionally cute bird after all the crows! :D I like hyow it's all burred up. Simple but looking good. I'm imagining it'd be a pretty nice contrast if the bird was all white, too. Just the most basic layer of color behind it. Anyway really nice sketch.

Thanks, felt pretty loose and free.

Me llamo el llama? :P He looks wise and vicious, a simmering anger deep within that he's learned to control... but maybe it's the serpent that speaks to him in whispers. Interesting piece, and I like the mythical style.

Thank you, it kinda reminds me of Baphomet art.

All the stars still at the edge of the image... but I definitely like the logo itself. The mesh of pink/purple/blue works great too. Futuristic and fresh work.

So he eats creatures hmm... starting to seem like a bit bigger a threat all of a sudden! Also good to have that oil-like substance explained. With the black color I thought it might be something else than blood. Another good panel.

The grass and greenery does come across a bit as a brush, but I really like the color and light otherwise, and the mountains towering in the background... a pretty mighty scene overall. There's something unnatural about the color of grass and sky, and maybe the gap between the two places doesn't fully come across but... looks great.

I thought they were streams of wind, but maybe they're all strands of fate... that fabric which weaves all together. Smooth work,. Would have been really awesome if this'd work as a texture, too! Possible to repeat in a pattern.

BoMToons responds:

I was definitely playing with the intersecting physical and symbolic qualities of fabric, wind, thread, weaving, hair, etc.

Now this was a beastly piece! Awesome transformation.

I envision this as tying into the origin of the Crow/Wolf/Man hybrid for the Red Riding Hood story.

The background wind stays the same... but the character art seems all new with this one. I like the gloss and simplicity, and though it looks all but forced it's a boulder-shattering meeting it seems... symbolic. Bugs me a little she's not in the middle of the frame, though.

BoMToons responds:

I agree about the centering thing, but I really wanted to include the full length of the scarves on the "wind." Definitely symbolism going on... ties into my thoughts about a fresh take on the Red Riding Hood story with the crow antagonist (that is also maybe friendly/redeemable at times?)

Pretty cool the way the color shines through. Another nice one!

BoMToons responds:

That intersecting of colors was a happy accident I embraced. You should check out the process vid on my Twitter or Instagram.

Smooth work on the hands, and the bird... if this is a saga it seems this is where it all begins. Nice.

BoMToons responds:

This is probably my favorite of the series. The PoV on the bird from above is unique, and the semi-complementary color scheme really pops graphically for me.
