Now this one was definitely different from the usual ones! Usually red and blue don't seem to work together, but maybe that's only certain shades, or only when the elements are as hazy as this... whatever reason it all looks great here. Such a strong contrast. The whole world bends at the will of this one special entity too... looks surreal. Really cool, angle, color and clash.

A foggy forest, and there she stands in the circle... it's a both peaceful and ominous-looking scene, with those signs of taboo at the edges. Doesn't give an immediate sense of threat, but the impression she doesn't belong there. Like it's not her place. Like it's forbidden ground she treads on, though maybe lost to the times; maybe nothing more... I like the sense of mystery the scene evokes, and the hazy colors in the background. The overall darkness and surrounding canopy really gives a sense of being trapped or alone, too, even with open space between the trees. The woods a dark and dangerous place... but beautiful in its forgetfulness and mystery.

That one guy really doesn't seem willing to be there... it's strange seeing all the happy people around him, yet he's looking down; containing his emotions; holding his peace, as the title says. I feel like the others should notice. Like his aura of unwillingness should break the spell somehow. He grabs your attention right away, so it's like a loose end in the scene.

But I like how visual that is, and the detail is good, albeit somewhat simple, with expressions not all that detailed. The frame with the hands is the one that really looks perfect. Only bit that feels a bit off is the angle in the final scene, when his head is somewhat too big for the picture. Angled so that the girl could be looking at the other guy though... you wonder what's going on outside the frames of what this picture shows. What expression she holds there. What's in their minds. Really makes you think, this piece.

Heeey you can always count on Butzbo to deliver these trippy loops! :D Smooth but full of life, and atmospheric too with that dimlit green... some things (like the red cog, and the dogs tail) seem to jump a bit between the loop, not to mention how the ground hacks a bit, though unless you really start thinking about those things they're not so noticable! Wonder if you'll be making something for this year too? That one day's closing in. :) Good stuff.

A spacey and star-spangled scene, with some inspiring characters dwelling at the bottom of it! They look natural. I would've liked to a see a more sensual side to them, maybe somewhat softer poses, maybe somewhat angled from the side as to be just a bit more revealing... but then again it's refreshing they're not like the stereotype; not what you'd expect. More human than made for the picture, and the clash between them and the sky above... beautiful. Love how the colors fall down, and the texture's just perfect too. Really beautiful piece! So peaceful and calm. Makes me want to get outside and just sit there tonight; seeping in the solace and harmonies of the world.

A nicely framed portrait! Colorful - yet not too much - and alive with all the bits and pieces that swirl around. I love the the smoothness of it all. The dimension. The bubbles/balls, and her eyes, and all that holds a circular form comes across with such flawless gloss! The overall shape and shading of everything is just sublime, even when you zoom in, and the style makes me think of Marvel comics. But so much smoother. The motive paints a picture of what seems to be her life, the ups and downs and items that surround her, and the city in the background. Feels like if it really was her whole life cycle there could've been some more somber moments in the background, but for what it is it's just perfect. Everything fits together nicely, I love the motive, and the detail level: can't find a flaw.

This is one impressive-looking beast! He (if it is a he?) may not seem the most authentic, or the most ferocious (he sort of looks like an incredibly detailed Pokemon variant more than a dino), but I really like the detail. Smooth shading, and a gloss-like texture that gives his skin an alien-tone. The hazy trees provide a nice background. Atmospheric, soft... if it's meant to strike fear in the hearts of the viewer I don't really feel you're getting that across, but otherwise it's a creatively chubby interpretation of this particular breed. Baby T-Rex, maybe? If he is full-grown some points of comparison would've been good for the size to really come across. Nice work though!

A pretty spiffy and uplifting piece! Victory pose. Great color. Looking good.

That expression. XD Always digging those eyes too, interesting how much simple circles can add... nice one.
