It does look good! Though if you didn't say it was Spawn... might've mistaken it for a Pokémon. :P

To be fair I never did play this on GBC, or any other console, just read the comics and saw the movie... dope work! Good resemblance when you know.

Really cool way to frame this with the hair! The gradients float in nicely with the flat colors too. Really smooth work. The typography though hmm... stands out a bit. Wonder if the placement could've been better there. Or the outlines maybe less prominent a color.

Overall though really nice.
