A night of light. :) I like the variation, not just purple neon but a whole cacophony of color... even if the buildings layer themselves in a way that seems more like a jumble than a real neighborhood. Also almost looks like a set of lips on her back. Not bad!

Thanks! i just thought it'd convey the idea that this city is a "modern day trash hole" (Graffiti on the roof, billboards everywhere, dirty/run down buildings) if it were more jumbled. you see, the character is supposed to be unhappy with the fact that their life choices led them to working in this city.

Was expecting Bella to look more humanoid since she had a name, but hey I guess you don't need to be human to have one after all... strange how that's become the norm. Humanoid animals. Or Pokemon. Anyway this was nice. Smooth work!

Was relating heavy all the way through the Linkin Park suburbs DBZ part. XD Judging by the picture though the fun never ends... good stuff here too. Party theme and woo.

[NG Advent Calendar Day One]

It's a party from Day 1! :D Feels like this is the kind of piece that would've been perfect to end the calender with, but already huh... certainly plenty of pressure on everyone who follows this to keep things equally awesome. Love that Chutney art in the bg, and that out-of-focus selfie shot. And everything else, of course! No lack of expression/shine.

Detail level definitely jumped up with this one! Germaine looking kinda... neurotic. It works.

Bit simple but not bad.

The new one's not bad, but the original covers... they really had a different kind of personality. Each one a theme. Each one a joke. Maybe it's not that way with all of these but at least here it feels like there's just no focus. Character art slapped over a random photo. Not bad but... not the same.

That's quite a different take than the original hmm. Feels like that one really had a stronger theme this time around, both comedy and intensity, AND detail. Bit simple and aimless now...

You wonder how much of the background's real and how much is animated in hmm... franchise names and such. Nice cover.
