my guess is they won't respond to my counter-claim because the only option after that is to sue the artist and that just seems like a waste of time for them. they were probably hoping to spook me and just delete it. strangely enough they only claimed 1 of my 3 Overwatch pieces. it was probably some automated process, idk.

Hmm, I think SMB1 was one of the things I actually disabled on all our office computers last year, when there was a security exploit for this on Windows 7... I believe it was already disabled on 10 back then. Not sure how big a security thing it is but either way I'm pretty happy I don't need a workaround like this... interesting to know what software actually uses that feature.
