Woah, a dead person... you know? Of religious significance this time? I'm afraid I don't recognize any of the faces/icons, though seems like the man to the right might be holding his hands in prayer, or swimming, possibly both....
You capture the sense of despair pretty well with how dark the water is, and the jagged waves, even though there seems to be beauty beneath it it too. Everything floats together nicely; has an interesting contrast between either being a pattern or (as with the waves) not following any sense of symmetry at all, and yet it does work well together.
If there is a religious connotation/symbolism here, could it be the waves symbolize life, our world, and the world below it that which comes after? Life's full of turmoil and hardship; at times it feels like you're drowning, and yet below the surface there's a peace you can't see in your struggle. The afterlife? Or a peace you can find if you just calm down and dive deeper; maybe learn to breath water, a note on learning to cope with the struggles of life, and find peace even in the stormiest places?
Or maybe it's the other way around, that enlightenment is above the waves, and that's where you're striving to get? That you pray to stay afloat, and thus you do?
A fascinating piece regardless, but all the more so when you know it really means something. I think I would've wondered if it didn't mean something either way but: of course, now I'm curious what it really means. :)
Nice work here. Real attention to detail. And intention. Maybe more than I realize...

Not bad!

I like how candid the shapes are with this one too. Works well visually; works well with purpose too... deep.

Alas, if one had time to even run through unfinished ones before not having time for the new ones too...

I don't get it but I like the mood!

That actually does look pretty helpful. XD In a lot of ways...

Suitable parallel for all but those who don't eat bacon. :)
Nice one though. And it sure is...

What a fun duo. :) The entanglement in this one's just perfect. Punchline maybe a little weak but looks great.

The color and detail in this one's just impeccable! Beautiful work.
