Here's a quick sneak peak of a collab entry I've been working on all morning ^. Was going to say more, but I'm not done yet so there's not much to say. I tried researching the roots of Christmas, and found out it's been celebrated since year 400 (at least), That's the number. :)

Yeah, it's the 24th for us too. Celebrating the great occasion took some rations, and slight time, thus I posted this ^ after midnight and not quite nine. :P

Anybody can walk on water, you just need the right shoes! Or a very shallow lake. Or a good camera. Or good computer skills. Or special powers... yeah, 400 years is a long time. For one of the largest worldly religions to settle in it seems like such a short time period though. His legacy sure has grown over the years...
My favorite holly day is mid year vacations, because nothing is going on, and i have lost of free time, funny enough i had to travel yesterday to my aunts and i was deprived of internet, they mixed in with a children birthday party, and that consumed the whole day, to add to the joke all my cousins called in sick or with ingenious excuses, so i had to fill in as a waiter... now i know what they mean by break a leg... anyway i usually get worse days, so all in all a decent Christmas.
I hope your was better, and now i have to prepare for new years, maybe this time i do break a leg, haha.
Ah, summer! That's definitely my favorite season, and a long break from computer work too... but Christmas is like a break in a rather dull season otherwise so that's what I appreciate most as a jolly day, summer is just like... eternal bliss... it's like a phase that you just dip into, that swallows you whole and eats away hate and anger until there is only perfection... huh, childrens birthday party on Christmas! We probably 'celebrate' at a pretty laid back pace in comparison, two old parents; me and my sister. Not so large gathering, though that's just the offficial party...

My Christmas hasn't been so eventful, some family time, good food, lotsa gift-giving spirits. But it's been good! I'm missing snow though...

I was afraid 'vicarious', in and of itself, was already taken as a username, and I didn't want to use numbers... it is what it is, or was. Kinda hasty in retrospect, I'd been lurking for quite a while....

Yeah, a space before the E. You know it is, growing up in DOS.. no spaces in file names. Plus (I think) part of me wanted to be Vicarious Entertainment, although my current business at the time was Fiddlesticks Productions, and I was more interested in bringing Newgrounds to local access cable TV, 2 or 3 flash movies/games per 1/2 hour episode. I'm sure it would've done wonders for the site in 1999, not to mention the appeal of my show.
K, good knowing. Gotta ask since a lot of names (like XwaynecoltX) use the capitalizations for visual symmetry, though that name doesn't have any potential for other pronunciations, bad example, anyway...
Vicarious Entertainment sounds like a pompous company name. No plans on registering it now? Do you still run any business btw? Any registered trademarks? Wonder how the site would've evolved in that parallel universe...

Most stuff I did was either anonymous work-for-hire, guest credit by name, or to the TV show itself, so there was hardly any need for any kinda pompous title :)
Fandango is a wonderful flick, and that line cued up in the link, seemed to sum up my retirement from video work. Plus the movie's wackiness reminded me of this place, so there ya have it!

Family trouble? For me Christmas is one of the highlights in these dark winter days, and the giving part has become such a big part of our tradition that it took more more than 3 hours to wrap in all my presents, no fancy things just LOTS of them. We started opening around 8 and kept going till after midnight. -_-
It's been good though.
