2,000-20,000$ an acre for land that can support life. It's almost 200,000$ an acre where I'm at O_o and they just use it to farm more ppl

At first, I didn't think I was man enough to drive around the new LS... just finished last night. A few of the missions, even later in the game, just seem like a tutorial for online gaming. At the end, you get a psychological profile... can't print screen it, but it's in my stats and online profile somewhere ;)

Sooo at 2,000 USD that's about half a dollar per square meter... that is pretty cheap! 20k sounds a bit more normal... 200k sounds insane. O_O Farmland? Forest? ...Desert? (thinking of the cheap land here)

A feat of the 1337. :) Congrats! Any online profile you can link to?

I haven't created a character for online play yet, but I use the same user name I do here

Can you lookup any user from within the game?

I tried sending a message to a friend I know who plays it on PS3, but haven't head back from him... Haven't tried anything much online.. you need to create a character before anything else (as your avatar), and it's very hard to get anything decent out of the presets! It's way too multicultural, too few presets... I'd like to at least make a nice corpse?

lol, a corpse?! That way if you die all the time it'd only be natural huh... makes sense! :P I was about to link to this old service for GTA SA where you could upload your stats and have them showcased online, saying there should be something similar for V, but can't find it anywhere... did find this nifty little service though: http://gtasnp.com/

BABIES HAVE FUTURES TOO

YEAH BABY

I still haven't straightened out my DB previous to my new computer, but I know I still have the files.. neat website, simply drag n drop a sav file to make a statwhore list :)

Mmm, it doesn't show all the character stats I remember the one I'd used earlier did (kills, deaths, money, fame, power, etc), but at least progress is all there!

https://www.youtube.com/c/filmcow highly recommend llamas with hats, specially now that he compiled all the episodes.

I'm just waiting for all of this to make it to NG! :)

I think I still have bookmark(s) to another stat pulling site somewhere. Still haven't come across the 'phsychological profile' thing that appeared after I beat V's story mode...

Whirlguy's still 3 animators short for his 20th anniversary animation collab http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1388594 Know anyone interested?

I should too... somewhere... what happens if you beat the final mission again btw, since I seem to recall GTA V missions are re-playable? Do you get the entire ending/credits/thing rolling again?

Hmm nobody that comes to mind right now. I'd love to contribute myself, but don't want to sign up if I don't have time to put in right away, hope a slot or two stay open a while longer...

I'm sure the end credits roll after replaying the final mission(s), which is pretty neat! I have replayed a few missions - while playing, you hit ESC, go to GAME, and pick what you want to replay. It's like an in-game game, that quick saves, before you play it, and then returns to the 'present; after completion/fail... You go back to whatever character with whatever money you had at the time, BUT with all your latest guns and stats! Weird, but it works! Plus you can (supposedly) choose different
ways to do heist missions, which usually require some prep work before doing....

Busy time of year for collabs, with school exams before summer break... not to mention all the other events like NATA, Madness, Robot, Clock days...

So you can't earn money, but you can earn new weaponry? Add to the ammo stacks too? Sounds useful.

Yeah, summer's when it all goes down, but right before that you know what's up, always something on the side, but it's all right with leftovers...

At any point in the game, you can go back and redo a mission, with whatever guns you have currently, but not money (whatever you made the first time around, sticks)... kinda makes sense? Plus there's bronze, silver and gold awards for each mission, and a list of what you did to gain.. whatever award you got... it's sparse, but damn hard to get gold! Hope it's not required for 100%
Probably |: At least the battery cars are mad fast, still pretty (very!) hard to complete missions in a certain amount of time though, not all missions are timed

Sooo what about ammo? Does ammo you pick-up remain when you return to the game/ammo you waste remain wasted? If you pick-up items on a mission, do you get to keep those? Sounds like good reason for eternal grind. :)

I did! And it was glorious. ...for like 5 minutes. Then I got over it. "milestones" on here lost their luster to me. Guess it comes with being on here for almost a half decade.

Well not always. If anything I'd say Prog, Psychedelic, Doom, and Drone have the longest tracks. The 5 longest tracks I have are
Bongripper - The Great Barrier Reefer 1:19:23
Bongripper - Heroin 1:16:08
Tribes of Neurot - North
Acid Mothers Temple - Japanese New Music Festival Europe Tour Ver. 4
Tribes of Neurot - West
After that the next two longest are 2 songs that I MYSELF recorded. Then it's more Acid Mothers Temple. Their songs generally clock in at roughly 20+ minutes.

Hmm....I may check out that link.

I only delivered newspapers before. But since last May I've been working an actual job. So that eats up my time at night. But even then I started posting less and less.

Haha, well at least you got that initial kick! I still get that profound sense of accomplishment with each level gained... the longer it takes, the better the reward. :) But a lot of the other numbers start to amount to amounts where only very large progress feels like progress.

Man those are some intense lengths! Haven't listened to any of them. Are they really like one long song each, or more like a medley? Those who say tracks have to be 3-4 minutes to fit don't know what they're talking about. :P Oh, recordings you have online somewhere, possibly?

No pressure. Wasn't that insanely interesting, just felt relevant to the convo at the time. :)

Ah yeah, newspaper delivery... I miss those days! Work with a real sense of freedom, twas nice, and early morning too so the rest of the day was all free...

Story mode is normal... but when you go back to redo old missions.. I haven't been looking that closely. Ammo is cheap at ammunation, it's the guns and attachments/mods that are eye wateringly expensive

Mmm, I hope ammo's still a luxury at the start of the story though? In all old GTA games it's felt like once you start to amount so large amounts of ammo it's no longer a grind to gain it becomes a grind to get rid of that ammo, shooting all that can be shot just to use up some of that surplus.

You get 20 rounds for the grenade launcher, 10 for the RPG, I think 10 for the heat seeking missile.... otherwise, ammo storage is rather hefty!

Seems like it's still in tune with the classics! :) Grenade launcher hmm, should be fun...

Very fun... too bad the rampages only have one (sometimes) 2 weapons to choose from.
So you've never played it before, do have a console you still buy games for, or are you like me, part of the PC Elite?

Ooh, two weapons! At the same time!? I always liked the wield-only-one challenge for them rampant spin-off missions, but 2 seems... interesting.

Not yet, no, been waiting for the PC version since the non-PC console ports came out, now I'm just waiting for enough spare time I don't have to pause mid-marathon when I get started. ;) I don't like the idea of required Internet connections, subscription services, etcetc... so I opted out from individual consoles after PS2 (which I have since then sold btw... then bought two more to play old games with in a burst of nostalgic impulse, then sold those again realizing I can probably emulate those specific games via PC now). I still have a small collection of classic consoles with great personal historical value (PSX, N64, GC) and attributed games, and have in latter years turned my formerly modest row of GB handhelds into a real collection (GB, GBP, GBC, GBA, GBA SP, DS Lite, DS i, 3DS), a few with duplicates, the DS Lite still a re-occuring pre-bedtime routine, but for real games it's all PC! A part of that same elite breed with a greed for freedom and speed I am indeed!

Yeah thats true haha. I really only get a sense of accomplishment whenever I hit a level thats a multiple of 10 or 5. Cause I'm weird like that. So I won't feel uber accomplished til I hit lvl 40. Which is in.....3 levels for me.

They are pretty intense. Though a lot of em have a habit of sorta.....going on and on after awhile. If that makes sense. And yeah they're one long song. Though some of the only songs that I can stand listening to that are insanely long would be
Dopesmoker by Sleep 1:03:25
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIw7oeZKpZc
or Plague of the Planets by Ogre 37:16
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCoKMKfjJCM
And yeah. I have em as unlisted videos on my YouTube channel. Which is itself nothing but full albums that I've uploaded on there. And yet I have about 2000+ subscribers and over 1 million accumulative views.

Hmm okay.

Eh I don't. Then again I'm still doing it. So I can't really miss something I'm still doing.

I'm sure most will agree on the 10s when it comes to stats. :) and 5s are halfway there so they're like... well, half the party. It's a lot like birthdays come to think of it. Then when you move further through the digits (as you never do in the ages) it goes to 100s and 50s instead, and 1000s and 500s and then... 10,000s and 5,000 and with people like Nijsse all the way to the 100ks! Seems he just skipped right past the 50,000s though. O_o

Was actually better than I expected it'd be... though I don't really live into the music as much as I should I think, feels like I'm just waiting for something to happen, for the peak of their performance, and yet they keep on with the same riffs on and on and on and then... subtle shift and then... back at it again. Could be good as background music though. Btw, are there any long songs like this with vocals? Wait, scratch that, left this reply open while listening through Ogre... all the way! Not bad at all.

Woah, tons of comments too! You're a popular guy on YT! No legal trouble with hosting full albums like that though? Though they seem like less-mainstream titles than the main stream of DMCA complaints Run.

Oh, is your regular job fulltime newspaper deal? Or that plus the other one? The newspaper I handed out was a local magazine with pretty low pay, great exercise but not very encouraging otherwise, and I'd be too tired to do that all morning and then go to the regular work I have now. Sitting by the computer the rest of the day though, that worked pretty well...

Up until early this year, I've been without a proper PC or console for 5 years |: Oh, and no, only one weapon at a time, but you have an option for a melee weapon or something... old rampages usually only had one weapon - easy to kill one's self..

I've read all about your computer chronicles... up the point you gained one. :) Not sure what happened after that though, should really check out those specs in that one club I never did visit when you posted about it earlier on... I had a gap on maybe 3 years when an old computer I'd been using for a decade gave up on me, and I bought a new, cheap, budget, office-type one that only had an integrated GPU and didn't work for any games with heavy graphics (it's fine for old games like DooM though, and Flash, so it wasn't all that limited). Got a new second-hand gaming computer in 2013 just so I could get back into gaming, and that I did! Never looked back! Still going strong! I've still to plow through a bunch of titles I missed those few years though, and so many new ones are out already. But GTA V's the first on line...

Ah, good known. Yeah the old rampage's were difficult, especially with the heavier weapons, RPGs, flamethrowers, wild pedestrians running into you while on fire spreading the disease of dreary death, a car speeding by you right when you were about to fire that rocket...

-some times we all just need to take a walk and observe this planet which is full of life in all of its astounding profoundness-

-wise words-

Yeah thats true haha. Same with the birthday thing.
Isn't Nijsse the one with the most medals or medal points or something? I can never remember...

Yeah....I'd say thats the only main beef I have with something like Dopesmoker. It tends to keep going on and on with relatively the same stuff. You need to absolutely love Doom Metal to understand why that album is as critically acclaimed as it is. I LOVE Dopesmoker. I even have a big poster of that artwork from the video hanging on my wall and a shirt of it too. It's the only green band shirt that I own.
As for Ogre. Plague of the Planets is one of my all time favorite albums. It's one of the only extended length one song albums that I can think of that keeps you interested all the way through and doesn't have any "slow parts" in it. If you catch my drift.
Eh I guess. There are a ton of channels exactly like mine that have a ton more traffic than mine does. And I'm actually subscribed to those haha. And yeah I have :/ it's why I haven't uploaded anything in a long time. Last one I uploaded was over a year ago. I had to take down a bunch of stuff because I got TWO copyright strikes against my account and if I get a third it'll get taken down. The strikes are still in effect for a year after I get them so they'll be there til I wanna say October. But I may just make a new account when that time is up and upload stuff on there instead.

Nah. It's just something I do on the side. My "main" job is working at a hotel...lodge place. I WISH my main thing was the papers still. Though I didn't make really anything doing that..

Yeah that's him! Just recently hit 600,000 points. O_O

Mmm, I haven't listened to much of that genre, though, DooM metal... I should! ;)
Yupp, I catch your dirft, was unexpectedly awesome.

Wonder which albums recieved the strikes, if you mind revealing?

Ah, good knowing. Hotel work sounds pretty relaxing, what do you do exactly? Stand by the desk? Patrol? Clean? Ace of all trades?

Crazy.....and I'm not even at 25k points.

Yeah Doom Metal can be pretty good. Depends on the band though. Some are better than others. And some just stink. Really good Doom would be:
Sleep https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-FjO3E8K-E
Electric Wizard https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IzMCuplp4qo
Black Sabbath (first four albums) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Se8KKhVKDUM
Pentagram https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cuSXQFfnaQ8
Saint Vitus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpVUMuLLqug
Black Pyramid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddl0PO3L6K4
and so on and so forth

I had the entire discography of the band Electric Wizard up there. And I got strikes against me for the albums Witchcult Today and I wanna say Black Masses. So I took down all of the studio albums of theirs and still have some of their stuff up there. Though my most viewed stuff is by The Sword
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEsmxJvgcjU
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EiMQioILCGI
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjKI_U9ENwU

I do "housekeeping". But in actuality I'm pretty much a mix of being a janitor and customer service. When theres a bunch of people I'm busy all the time I'm there. And when it's a slow day I could seriously sit for about an entire hour and have nothing to do at all.

Crazy indeed. O_O

Black Sabbath hmm, one familiar name in that list at least. :) Out of the ones you link to I'm really liking Black Pyramid, and some pretty hypnotic guitar solos with Pentagram, first ones are a bit heavier... well, more like the epitome of the genre I guess?

Ah, The Sword seem pretty good! Powerful music.

Ah, that part about sitting an hour does sound pretty relaxing. :D Can you bring with you things to do though? Reading?

nm just defragged my computer for the first time in 8 years u

I have... never defragged the computer I'm using right now. O_o Notice any difference in speed?

I can't imagine getting to even 1/4 of that many points...

Yep. In addition to "creating" Heavy Metal, their first album ALSO made: Doom Metal, Stoner Rock/Metal, and Goth Rock. Though Master Of Reality and Vol 4 are the ones that are more or less Stoner/Doom Metal. Then Sabotage had the very first Thrash Metal song on it. It is also the first Progressive Metal song too (Symptom of the Universe).
Black Pyramid are pretty good. Though their singer left before they did their newest album Adversarial. But it's still really good too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJwLgXXXZfU
Yeah Sleep and Electric Wizard are consistently noted for being some of the heaviest bands in the genre. Electric Wizard being considered the "heaviest band ever" especially with the albums Dopethrone and Come My Fanatics...

They are indeed! I've seen em live before and they're even better live. They're planning to release a 5th album this year too.

Eh not really. I can only bring something with me if I'm working in the laundry room and not going out and about in housekeeping. But that wont happen again for awhile or ever again. They hired someone to do laundry. And before I'd probably get one day down there a week in the summer. But I most likely wont now. Otherwise I just sorta sit around on my phone. Playing solitaire or tetris.

I imagine in maybe... a decade...

Oh man, they really revolutionized this one genre! Impressive feats. Nice, peek preview that has me wanting to hear more. :) Might start getting into metal again. Those other two were pretty heavy indeed, but bit better paced than the previous if I'm my memory isn't imagining a difference there. Good links.

Well, as long as there's a phone there's nothing you can't do. :) All potentially hindering reading material seems superfluous compared to these pocktable portables!
