Oh yeah, we got the Smart-Four and Two here, though it's not easy to avoid the potholes around here, the mid-atlantic states have some squishy ground, and don't like to spend money on making good asphalt :|
Yeah, we got Honda, Lexus, Toyota, Infinity, Nissan/Datsun, dunno if Isuzu is still alive... had yet another recall of Mazda cars, luckily not for being infested with spiders, but for spiders getting stuck in a gas vent line, possibly rupturing the gas tank!
Ronnie Reagan cut tariffs on Japanese bikes and cars in the early 80's... kinda killed things for the rest of the world's presence in the US market.... every president we've had, has made unfair concessions to other countries, just to line the pockets of their supporters, Nixon and Clinton were the worst, letting China run roughshod over our manufacturing base.
Ah, I thought they were one of those 'overly efficient and not made by Ford, Chevy or Chrysler' cars for sure. Sounds like it's not a very smart car to drive around with over there though...
Woah crazy thing about them spiders. Some Japanese cars have been pretty horrible in terms of safety though, at least older models, but that's a good selection! Datsun 240Z is another car I'd like to own.

You speak the truth, but these collab things usually take more time than expected, if not with the initial phase of making then some problem in the phase of putting everything together. The recent Happy Collab was planned as just a quick thing, to be done in a week, but it took over two months! No, just the ones that dealt with that specific scene, used in the movie commercial. I'm sure it's out of YT's rotation by now anyway, but it's always good to strike wile the iron is hot.
As a former editor, I would have loved to take already edited bits, and stick them together... I was good at that. Buy God, it did take forever using cassette tapes! Maybe I should jump in on 3D printing while it's still kinda new....

I watched a documentary about Jackie Chan; it showed him cutting together video manually using reels and a really simple open interface projecting them into a screen, don't know if he's moved onto digital editing since then but it seemed like a useful way of editing video. No potential for program crashes or quirks, just cut and paste and it's done! Yeah why not! :D Been thinking of printing anything specific? If you could print counterfeit LEGO there might be a business opportunity there...

Jackie Chan's an old goat alright, but the ways of fil editing are still practiced to this day. But nah, modern editing suites don't just BSOD... can't charge by the hour if the system shits out. Although I did hear about one case in the late 90's on an Avid system... I went somewhere else.
Indeed, I heard Nolan holds on to some of those practices too.
I get crashes all the time though, but I guess avidemux doesn't really compare to the professional stuff! Or it could be I'm experimenting with too many unsupported codecs, tried recording with Fraps recently and it looked like it swapped the U/V levels. Avidemux has a filter to swap them back, but it kept crashing on export, so I tried Handbrake instead and it doesn't even show the U/V levels inverted. These programs are a maze.
Btw, on the topic of screen recording software, I've been trying a bunch of other ones since BSR (the one I previously used) apparently has some trouble with my new GPU, stumbled upon Open Broadcaster Software on the way, which looks like a pretty good program for streaming (wasn't any good for recording games though). Mirillis Action! seemed promising as well, as did ZD Soft Screen Recorder.

Sure there's Rolls, Saabs, Volvos, Bentleys, and Porches, Lambos, Ferraris. But anything overly efficient, and not made by Ford, Chevy or Chrysler, will not be sold in the US. Some of it's safety, we always had big cars and fat lawyers...
A small electric generator is all you really need, and since you don't need traditional mechanical gunk weighing things down... But for a full size car, yeah maybe you'd want a 1 or 2 liter 4 cyl engine to get the spark up.
