Those classic pop up profiles are nostalgic as hell. And damn, you held your silver whistle for nine years before upgrading it.
I think I was up at gold for a while, but it didn't stand the test of time! What's even more incredible is that I had over 4000 reviews just a year after I'd signed up, the nine years that followed I've barely tripled it! Must've been writing like a maniac.
Congrats on hitting 10 years! I would love to have some special prize or ability for 10+ year old accounts... Gonna have to think about that one.
Was cool to see photographic evidence of the Paypal Donate button on profiles a decade ago... Before people on the web were interested in doing that sort of thing. I don't think anyone ever got any donations but it's always tempting to revisit that, especially if users end up with loose credit jingling in their NG wallets some day.

Yeah, that was a pretty neat feature, I remember getting a PayPal account because of it, though I never did get a donation... with the surplus of services like PayPal it would be cool with something similar that lets a user choose which digital wallet they want to use, like Dwolla (no transaction fees at all for payments under $10), and very low ones otherwise. Maybe even bitcoin?
