lol yeah, ended way quicker than I expected. :) Wonder if they're going for the earlier style of story-telling with this, like how in the first episodes of the series everything happened so fast, meeting Zoro, Nami etc. Wonder if Breed will appear again later on though, he seemed like a character with a backstory.
But that anything can happen makes it kinda boring because, there is no surprise at all or drive.

No, Machete Kills is a different kind/level of crazy haha, in tough is more of a jungle raid double agent infiltration to destroy a drug lord organisation, back in the late 80's early 90's and he does it unarmed, what i can't remember is if the helicopter was an ally or foe... ah by the way the one who does that is a guy with the age of Kichii who is being studied as a prototype for super soldiers.

Well as for storytelling, remember how in Punk hazard he tried to show the point from various groups advancing according to their own goals? well that is nothing new really, but we could see trying something with that, what i am seeing is an enhancement of that, so the story won't go faster, it may even go more slowly because it has to focus in a variety of events that take place at the same time, so one event multiplies by 5, but they are packed with action, thrills and surprise, along with some twist like the one that i spoiled before (sorry about that) the Dressrosa arc is so good.
Also the manga did go on hiatus after all, you were right hahaha.
Well it does bode for plenty of surprise, right? No drive though. I like random stuff every once in a while, but it feels like anything with a continuation needs some form of red line and a fundamental set of rules. If they say Batman is mortal, he should be!

Btw2, on the topic of copyright infringing content, in the beginning all of that stuff was a gray zone. I had a bunch of music players with audio from Linkin Park etc that was pretty popular, but one day Tom deleted all of them, turns out they were breaking the law. :P If I hadn't submitted so many it might've been OK, there are still plenty of old submissions with similar content, or ones that use copyright music material, but since they're all part of the past they survive.

Oh wow, didn't realize she's started with claymation! Must check that out. Haven't seen any one of those yet so I can't judge, but for claymation you basically need to take a picture for every frame rather than automatically tween certain sequences, etc, frame by frame animation definitely takes longer, but the more automated style, with plenty of loops etc, that's bound to be quicker. Plus claymations are generally shorter than regular animations. But I'ma have to get back to you on that...

By now I feel I can foretell which forms of content will get the daily prizes or not... and the Socks is too abstract an art to be taken in by anyone, I'd think that's the kind of submission that gets viewers who vote seriously, rather than the 'omfg awesome 5 stars' type o teens. Some themes are surely overdone, but I still get a laugh out of them at least, so I understand why people appreciate the material. And as for COD Ghosts this is actually the first parody I've seen. That said, if they'd swapped first and second spots I wouldn't have anything against it, the Socks deserves a daily first and surely would have gotten it on a different day.
Yeah, he did, but it's not listed under audio credits... I think, and it's not that long a clip of the music. I doubt copyright holders will go out of their way to report it. And it depends on the artist too, some don't mind having their work used, some only mind if it's used in the wrong context, the control of copyright audio is way worse on YT seeing as it's automatic and abused by fake companies. There the companies can actually earn money if people use audio they don't have the rights to use, here it may become a problem only if the authors really are gaining a lot of attention using someone else as credit. That's true, but if you look at popular submissions you'll see they don't have any copyright audio, they make their own, or they ask for permission, or they're just exceptions. :)
I don't think the staff would do anything unless they get a DCMA notice, but if someone regularly starts uploading dubbed video, making it into a series, gaining lots of popularity... well that'd be a problem!

It was a surprise for me too! when she said that it took her at maximum just 4 (or worst to worst 5) hours to get the whole thing done, that is crazy fast! if we take into account that in the end the whole thing is frame by frame, what seems to be the biggest issue so far is that her videos have no sound once uploaded to NG, on the other hand YT is not giving her any problems, but since i have never uploaded anything here (let alone in the new format), i have been unable to help her with that, a pity because sound makes quite a difference.
Well the thing is since i am following machinima on YT to see parodies of CoD is almost like peeing, it happens every day! haha, plus that video is from last year (is so weird we are on 2014!) so yeah... at least for me it is far faaaar away from new or fresh content, but i understand for NG it is kinda... new? but it should not be! this is a goddamn page about games!!!! so i know it is normal that a game parody gets #1, but at the same time it should not, fucking YouTube... you know Empire of Socks 2 was also uploaded first to YT along with Vimeo, of course as any decent person the link on Barfquestion's blog leads to the video on Vimeo (when you also get the nice option to download it as an mp4), but as you know, i was anxiously expecting the moment when we could have it here, it was a matter of hours not really all that much, but it was important to me, so much that i made that prediction, prediction which i still believe true even if it didn't happen, i was even going to say something like "Look the empire has conquered it should have come here first from the very beginning!" well... i still think that it should have come here from the very beginning, specially since the videos can be embed thanks to the update, but while #2 is not really bad, the circumstances take support away from my words.

Well to be specific they all must have died at least once, in one of the many universes, cameos, and mix ups, but they all get revived in the next story so is like nothing happened, is like the whole stories are filler, so is kinda pointless, and since they are worked by anthologies and each one has a different author then is not like one Batman has any relation to another Batman etc, etc. Thus even if killed... Batman is immortal... even if he is supposed to be a normal human... and the same goes for everyone else, as long as they bring in dat money.
He explains that it was an accident, because that is how full of himself he is, but he kinda has the power to back himself up, power that he normally never uses because you know if he did Kichii would never fight, nevertheless his brothers are more powerful but they don't appear until the adult part of the story... talking about that, in the adult part we do get some tragic back-stories with Colombian drug lords involved and more, it gets really crazy.
Well i haven't heard Jackie lately but i hope he learned to use the stuttering to his favor, there is promise in engrish!

Drug cartels huh, reminds me of the Machete Kills movie I watched yesterday, where the villain is (at least you think he is the villain... at first) a double-personality crazy cartel druglord and a noble revolutionary who hotwires a missile launch trigger to his heart so it'll detonate when he dies, places a bounty on his own head but eventually gets killed by his bodyguard who turns out to be a clone working for... well it gets pretty crazy.
I hope so! It seems accents die hard though, same thing with Arnold...
