Yeah... :( Tom's talking about wallpaper, and the fucking favorites don't work! The anti-multipost glitch is fixed.... kinda :| Works A to B, but if you refresh and repost, it won't work sometimes, then you have to refresh the page another way (to release use of the 'submit' button). yeah.

Oh man, sorry for the repetitive delay, I still haven't sent the files... satisfaction levels didn't peak indeed but if I don't get a move on recording soon I'll just send them over anyway, don't like leaving things unfinished.. and the rest of the project rests in your hands. :) I'm definitely interested in more when I get back!

A few days ago I read about the fire in your apartment complex... didn't get too close did it? Have things settled down, as far as the unrest/riots?
Thanks, glad to know I have a(n avid?) reader! :) The fire was a few blocks away, so not in my apartment complex. There was never any risk of the fire spreading to our apartment-house, but the smokewave was intense. Wish I'd taken a picture, but at the time I was more concerned with the smell, maybe having to stay with a friend a couple of days, etcetc.
I haven't heard any more of the riots, so it must be over. Bit surprised the media didn't make a bigger thing of it, maybe they all understand they'd just be fueling the fire.
In the 1970's, after learning from the rioting and turmoil of the 60's, most cities changed their policies on crowd control... In a city nearby to me, they simply stationed police around the riot zone, till things calmed down enough, to escort fire and ambulance services in. They let the rioters burn down and loot their own neighborhoods. They simply let no one out or in, unless they were hurt.
Has there been a toting of casualties, destroyed buildings, businesses and cars?
The police here in Sweden are pretty lenient, they're not allowed to injure people even in self defense, for example, so when they're outnumbered then they're pretty powerless. I haven't read anything about casualties or costs, I don't think there were any casualties, though there's been plenty of injuries. As for costs... that'd be interesting to know, I'll let you know if I'm ever informed- :/

Yeah, something like that. As I've done every summer since I signed up here at NG, I hike up North aboard a plane and isolate myself at our summerplace until September. Studies are finally over, summer is finally here! The garden's awaiting my help weeding, amongst other things, the lake just awaiting a wade in. It's always a lot of work and fun combined. :)
