It worked out fine once I reinstalled Windows, hehe. Only steps you should need to worry about in the guide I posted earlier are the ones I give warnings for -uninstalling programs that share important files and cleaning up the registry with CCleaner. Nothing can go wrong otherwise . . . but keeping a big backup of everything someplace is still always a groovy option . . .
