Heroin addicts or... heroine adage? That's the one!
@Cyberdevil Yes please. I panicked that you were dead -- but it did make me check your tracks so ... it works?! If you do get on spotify please ping me. I'm working on an indie hiphop playlist and... also hoping to get algorithmically tied to similar artists!
Didn't we chat about AI on your profile just recently too though? XD Haha yeah, glad you did! I saw that awesome initiative... shall do when I do.
Curious if Distrokid the best alternative out there at the mo, do you know? The most known? What you use for your own?
@Cyberdevil I use distrokid myself for the pricing and decent options. They have improved a lot over the years with options for distro as well
Yes we did! Some new changes on the horizon. Fully AI music is taking over spotify because it's so easy to do distro, so spotify is mandating 200 plays on a track before it'll do royalties
Aight, good to know. :)
Daaamnnn that's the kind of wave it could've been profitable to get on early, though a little scary the human element's so easy to phase out too, good limit to have, even if it impacts real creators. Shouldn't be too difficult to get up to 200 plays if you just keep something on loop too though, wonder how many creators automate mess with their stats; just keep a revenue stream running automatically with fake plays, potential botnet activity too...
@Cyberdevil nugget 3
gold :3
@Cyberdevil I called him mean words for not checking NG often, then made him check it. Love the outcume. Low key hoping you teondo more stuff, outside inktober, giving you more time and polish, and the inevitable takeover of the audio portal :D
Daaaamn, snow. Wow. Over here it's still 27c a day average. Which is, admittedly, very odd. We should be deep into colder weather (not quite snow levels, but still) by now.
Man, I live & breathe dill. Add it literally everywhere, as long as its not a sweet of some kind. Could prob work with mint chocolate tho :p
Never knew there were so many varieties of mint, I'll look into it. Been looking into a lot of stuff like that lately, learning, preparing for next year.
So you pretty much have to start everything late spring/summer because of the cold weather or am I misunderstanding? How do things that take longer to produce (like hot peppers for example) do over there? Ever try the self replicating spinach thing? Also, on topic of tomatoes - do you guys over there in Sweden have those big nasty looking ones that are perfect for cooking and sauces but look too disgusting to eat normally?
I got most of the rare ones from PepperMerchant, and will be getting Carolina and some other ones locally as those are widespread. Got 3 varieties that don't exist in Serbia yet, too, I'm a fucking pioneer. Pepper X I saw the other day finally got certified. Still no official seeds release as the guy behind it is still a bit salty about losing control to Carolina Reaper - which can now be found everywhere. There are fake pepper X seeds online, but all of them are fake.
I feel that, considering hr already claimsnhe has an even hotter one, X will come out sooner rather than later. And as soon as it does, I'll be getting it.
Hahaha love cauliflower. Sadly I fucked up thinking it can survive over cold weather like onions, but turns out it can't. Shame, but at least I learned something. It was just a few plants anyway, nowhere near the ~100+ peppers I'm planning.
Ah, far away from civilization. The dream. So great you got a retreat like that, even with the manual labor. Just feels nice to get aeay from everything for a while.
The land I got is kind of lile that, not really far away from civilization but it's up in the mountains in a small (sub 150) population village and the peace there compared to thr city is amazing. Thinking of moving once all the house renovations are done. For now it's a good vacation home, but still not really livable.
Glad you did. :D Let's see if we get to collabing more times, was plotting to keep going past October also, as usual, where does the time go... yeaaaah gotta make that happen somehow!!!
How's the weather been since the last message? Definitely got a colder winter than usual here, even in Stockholm, the heat pump broke so it's been a bi of an issue occasionally...
No dill with sweets hmm... that doesn't sound like a bad combo either though, might work well with just about everything! XD Ice cream and dill... fo shizzle, mint's an amazing herb, there are probably more varieties out there, those are just the ones we've tried. I'm not totally 100% on board with all this constant cross-breeding though, when you have a veriety for just every possible combination of tastes out there the combinations kind of lose their charm; don't seem that extra anymore... though I may feel that way more so because the combinations rarely actually taste better than the original. Chocolate mint is just... not that different from real mint. The additional chocolate taste almost more a distraction than an enhancement. Like it tastes better to eat actual chocolate AND actual mint, than just the combined greenery. Aaanyway onto more essential things....
That's right. :) As early as possible, and hope for a warm summer so it's all ready to harvest before the cold comes creeping again. I don't know if hot peppers would grow well enough here without a greenhouse, though worth a try! I have heard of the self-replicating spinach thing but not tried that either yet. Oh yeah I know the type. XD We call 'em buff tomatoes. Roughly translated. Haven't grown any ourselves but they do exist! IMO though smaller types taste better in cooking though, those are just... monstrous.
Dang man I didn't realize you were leading the way over there. :) That's awesome. Interesting... Ed Curry is one fascinating dude though. Do you watch interviews and such too?
Hype. :)
Ah it LOOKS hardy... broccoli doesn't do well with cold either though, it looks like kale but ain't the same game. Making new mistakes; learning new things every year here too fo rizzle.
Indeed. :) And to know you have a haven waiting if the world falls apart, which these days seems very possible occasionally. It's good to have some ground of your own. Ideally scattered across the globe in various diverse, naturally rich and peaceful locations...
Sounds a bit like our place man. :) That's awesome.
Speaking of, have you ever been to Tirana, Albania? They've had some really cheap trips there recently, pondering a flight over.
Sry for the super late response here, got stuck on the backburner a bit!
