Sort of. It's my sister's birthday the 31st, so we're celebrating that. :) No actual Halloween party though, alas, not like the old days...
Maybe I will actually try something seasonal this year though. Carve a pumpkin maybe. Eat something weird. :P Probably no costumes though.

Writers block you know, it's what is holding me back from getting started.

Mmm I find that the best way to get rid of a block is to just keep going, it may take a while to really warm up, but eventually you do! I feel like I rediscover this every October now. I start hesitantly with the one worse, inspiration comes occasionally, I fear some day I just won't be able to bring anything forth but then... the more you write the more easily it all comes to you. It feels like you open up floodgates, it takes a while to get them truly open but when they're open there's just no closing! ;) But the water probably does run out eventually if you go on too long...

@Cyberdevil Yep, it's simpler than most people think. Just gotta relax and find the flow, then follow it through. Blocks though... they are harder to get past. I mean it's possible, but it feels impossible, so most people give up there. At least I did.
That's the truth. :) I feel like professional writers/artists overall have often mastered this to the point that as soon as they sit down with the intent of making something, they can do it! That they can force those floodgates to open at will, in a way. Maybe all days aren't as great but if you just keep at it I think you get better and better at it. As they say in the 'War of Art'.
Mmm, the biggest barrier probably is that feeling. Hard to power through the obstacles you put up for yourself internally.

@Cyberdevil I'll dedicate myself fully to music creation in the near future. It's fun. I like experimenting with the synths and making it sound neater with different effects applied to it. There's no end to what we can create.

Woo! I'm happy with anything really, as long as it has a structure you can rap to, just basic percussion or bassline or synth or anything is fine if energy runs out there.

Yeah that's for sure. Why these getaways are so important. :) Winter feels so stagnant... back with the willpower to hopefully have a different kind of winter this year though! Summer gets you hype!
