that is in NO WAY a sequel. It's a direct-to-video abomination that appropriated the title and a reference to Patrick Bateman post-production, following the success of American Psycho.
There is The Rules of Attraction, which is connected to American Psycho. Never seen/read it though or know to which degree it's related, other than being written by the same author and having some relation to the characters.
