The first impression of Corpocat I ever came across while searching for some kind of info on this mysterious character, that will undoubtedly shape his impression of mine for all time to come. XD Not bad!

SourJovis responds:

Thanks. Someone else's cast for CorpoCat. Whatever will end up as the final voice will be the real voice, so I suppose you can forget about this.

Sounds like something straight out of a movie/game/something! Impressively youthful voice, and clarity too.

You've rendered me speechless in a good way. Thank you very, very much!

Pretty impressive for a first audition! :) I mean: impressive, first audition or no! Showing good promise this project. Great voice/accent.

Thank you! I was worried my voice wouldn't cut it

What a brooding atmosphere this puts up! I feel like it's a bit heavy on the loudness - the bass in particular maybe - feels a bit thick, but I love the melody otherwise, the synth, the slowness... just listening through it feels like journeying through some strange world. Sweaty, heavy, deranged.... really builds up the atmosphere well.

Thanks for the kind words and it definitely has its problems with the mixing and mastering. This was made around when I started getting into production and didn't know anything about the basics of balancing the sound. Happy it still holds up a year later though!

What a trip! :) I like the unpredictability of it, and how it it still sticks to the beat. Gives some pretty interesting vibes! Not bad though.

A pretty jazzy beat this one! :) I like the authentic percussion sound here. Seems you're finding a lot of these online tools too... seems like if the NG player didn't clip at the end it just might be a perfect loop too.

"seems like if the NG player didn't clip at the end it just might be a perfect loop too." I agree TOTALLY. 100%

Well it's an honorable homage! XD Lyrics are somewhat simple but... majestic in their own way. Title could've been a bit more original though, maybe: Are We Singing About Tom Fulp?!

Fun stuff overall! Happy Pico Day!

artistunknown responds:

I can't really comment on the lyrics since Chris wrote 'em, but yeah, they certainly are majestic.

I WAS going to call this song "I Love Tom Fulp" since I had a song called "I Love Christopher Tom" but I decided on the current title 'cause I thought it would be best to go with the meme. "Are We Singing About Tom Fulp?!" is a good suggestion though. I guess it probably would've been better to go with something more original, but oh well.

Thanks, and happy Pico Day!

That one night was definitely worth it. :) Starts icy and chill, but the weapons of war soon come streaming in and everything changes... really cool how the title's reflected in the content. Wonder if there's any direct relation to the site here, a tribute to some older tracks, something...? Don't spot/hear the reference if there is one, but it does sound like something that could've been in a game like... well, any of the Pico ones. :P Awesome work! Happy Pico Day man!

DESHIEL responds:

I felt like a mix of metal brutality and goofy cartoon melodies would be a fit for a guy like Pico and his world. My recuring theme is that I add the word Uzi to my every Pico day entry, cuz its the only gun I asociate him with.

An impressive piece, though looking at that waveform... it's really on the edge regarding the loudness! Wonder if all frequencies really come through as well as they could like this. Love the brooding feel overall, but the sound does seem a bit thick; hard to pick out any particular bit in the mix.

Thank you for your review dude :D

The combination's good, but it's still kind of off sync! Most noticeable right after that first bit, and when it starts speeding up/slowing down before that final part. Not bad composition overall, but Sampulator could really use a clip/align feature to build with... overall sound: alright.
