Clowning Around

2009-10-05 08:27:41 by Cyberdevil

The clown just came in
Dressed in roses with a handwagon
Of red balloons and gin
Carressing children with sealess lagan

Clowning for his win
Chestnuts roasting by the fire
They all gathered around
As the flames kept rising higher

He told them stories
About the dragons in the sky
He stole their worries
And let them rise up to the dragons that fly

Up by the clouds in moonshine
The children all stared in aw
Then he brought out his guitar
And slapped the strings with his furry paw!

Out came sounds and riot bliss
And he screamed out loud "Can you handle this!"
And the children looked at him, starred, through the mist
He said "Little kids, you are all now dismissed"

But the children wouldn't leave
All but none they would all stay
As the music screamed into them
And swept the mist away

Their thoughts were clear as crystal skulls
The sea was wide yet the clouds were dull
And they all screamed out for the anguish contained
They all screamed out to the sea without name

And the sea responded with invorceful force
The waves came churning without remorse
And the wind it howled, but the guitar did so more
Aloud like a tiger it roared in a choir

They rose with the riot, higher and higher
The dragons spit flames, fire and fire
A vortex of flames circled around them in wires
And grounded them back to the beach

They awoke the next morning, all with aching heads
The clown he had left them, the clown he was dead
Surrounded by a pool of thick and lucid red
Blood, and his guitar it was missing
