Bring me the Horizon

Posted by Cyberdevil Nov. 5, 2009 @ 3:44 AM EST

Bring me the horizon
Yes the one you despise son
But you can't live your life in the shade
It's of sun that your senses were made

Bring me the horizon
Yes the one foiling our madness
The cover of red white and blue
The flag onto which we stay true

To yeild at times of blisful streams
And seek to end deviable missery
And see as an undefinable mystery
And shield as undeniable history

Let the horzon be true
So fetch me the horizon in you!

Desert Trip

Posted by Cyberdevil Nov. 4, 2009 @ 2:46 PM EST

I took a trip through the dunes of grey
That swayed in tune to the moves I made
Some call them quicksand, others untold
But I just call them jellogold

The rolls felt funny under my bare feet
And yet they burned more than melting streets
The sands were small but the grains were sharp
The burning sand cut into my heart

They cut me hard and cut me deep
They made me cry they made me weep
They shook my whole and took from me
All that I thought I had inside

Then they sang a suddle lullaby
And calmed me down and praised my pride
And healed my wounds, but then, to my dismay!
Came another descending day

And I was left there, stranded, without hope or shade
Swallowed by the light I myself made
Forever

Inmate

Posted by Cyberdevil Nov. 4, 2009 @ 2:09 PM EST

He was big, scary and black.
Yet he chose to stay off my back.
Because my back was big hairy and fat.
And it seems he was manodepressive.

He was tall, skinny and dark.
Yet he chose to stay away from my arch.
Since it consisted of words to him strange.
Thus my poetry I chose to not change.

So I still write in lines that confuse.
Though they to me are confined and of great use.
They let all the emotions I hide deep within.
Escape and gather on these sheets so thin.

And then when I might need them later.
I can return to my abstract works on paper.
And read them aloud as many times as I please.
Still avoiding all of my inmates with ease.

There is no force or power greater.
Than words that you write for your own.
Emotions, experience, creations.
Avid inspirations unknown.

There is no bigger source.
For this great power or force.
Than the shallow mist of your mind.
So don't leave this instance behind.

Keep it with you.
Intimate.

Ribbons of Rust

Posted by Cyberdevil Nov. 4, 2009 @ 1:59 PM EST

Fly away to me
Sway wieghtfully
On the frail pole of existence

Weigh me daciously
As I tend to my
Figurative illusions

Is there a roll to be played?
Not a soul to be portrayed?
Where, outside, in all confusion

Still I rose from the grave
Like a hopeful roleplay
As a figure to find the solution

All the problems that we cannot solve
All the problems that only revolve
Round and Round

Attributive

Posted by Cyberdevil Nov. 4, 2009 @ 1:30 PM EST

I seek nothing further
Than I found on the floor
I saw red dead and murder
As I've seen so much before

I've seen it in movies and on TV
I've seen it in games and potpourri
I've read it in books and heard it cry
Outside my window one lonely night

Yet I have never seen it here
In my living room where I stand
And at the center solemnly stare
And at the corpse that now lies there

Yet this room is all but living
It has given in to proper demand
A murder for each one shilling
That falls from an innocent hand

We stay still to keep thrilling
The sequences that they shoot
Who shot? Who grabbed the loot?
But I am but assistant, singular substitute

I see the allseeing eyes, through my meager soul
I see the allseeing eyes, and they do guide me home
Then to all my surprise, they slowly rise and roam
Over to the little tiny speck of dust that is me

I sat nothing further
Than I planned to say
I saw red dead and murder
And only that this day

I've heard it on radio and 6 o-clock news
I've heard when the neighbours let their dogs lose
I've read it in books but I still cannot chose
Over the bundle or bride

And I have never been here before
In this living room where I stand
And at the gentlemen soulfully stare
And give in to proper demand

A murder is just a killing
Grip lost of a thoughtless soul
A murder is just a killing
Yet the murder will swallow you whole

I seek the allseeing eyes, that snatch the air from my throat
I seek the allseeing eyes, that grasp that space so I choke
I see the allseeing eyes, all seeing yet unwise
And I laugh inside myself, for all that I despise

Despite these sublime lies
I leave the law alone
And walk the cold way home
With the rest of me, intact

Cells

Posted by Cyberdevil Nov. 4, 2009 @ 12:17 PM EST

Do you know what keeps us here?
All locked up in this rotating sphere
Traveling round and round and round
Rotating up and down and down

Levitating in this open space
As we depart on our rounds through space
Many have tried to leave this place
But their highest jumps have failed

We all live in independent cells
Some call them Heaven, some call them Hell
Some call them Pluto, Saturn or Earth
Yet we don't recognize them for all they are worth

I asked USA for an estimation
They counted five billion without their nation
And thirtytwo with their country taken in
So I really don't know where to begin

We live in cells that we don't understand
Yet we build big rockets without using hands
And they say the humans are the smartest of all
Frankly, I think our braincells are way too small

In comparison.

Self Less

Posted by Cyberdevil Nov. 4, 2009 @ 11:56 AM EST

Plain like me
Plain like a thousand leafs
Of sand

Grains that free
That leave these furnished fields
So grand

Strain to be
Strain like a meteors rush
And fury

Train to be
The one that defies all glory
And finds

Himself

Composet

Posted by Cyberdevil Nov. 4, 2009 @ 11:42 AM EST

With all the notes I compose
Inevitably a lot to dispose
So it was to me a no-brain-er
As my bin to chose a container

Everyday the dumpster comes by
To lift up and empty old vibes
And soon comes a small shop on wheels
With notebooks to fulfill all my needs

They order new blocks constantly
And give discounts so generously
And travel all the way from Norway
To give me my notebooks each day

And everyday the country thanks me
That they still have fresh air to breath
And that their economy is going great
Since I write so much and stay up so late

Give Meeds

Posted by Cyberdevil Nov. 4, 2009 @ 11:07 AM EST

I can't glide
With wheels so dubbed
I can't move
If I've been clubbed

I can't live
If I can't breathe
So please give me
The two meeds I need

So I can glide without limitation
Fly beside in vertile exploration
Climb the skies and skate on wet dew
Rise and shine when the gold birds do

Make my day to a melody, to a tune
And run outside after my first spoon
Of intaken energy, full as of rage an enemy
Happy with all passed yet, and happy

With all that I will get. Today.
Life is just an antstep away.
