Oh, what a surprise! I woke up with dry eyes!
And it's been so all this day! Seems like it won't go away!
I can't blink can't cry or clean my eye! It screams inside!
The meanest madness.

Screeches loud like wrecking balls running up and down my halls
My eyes are dry I'm torn inside the sky is high I feel the vibes
I feel so faint the scenery plains I rise from the sand in a cascade of grains
And all I wish for this year, is an end to this nightmare

Some days walk
Some run away

Some days talk
They speak to me
They let me know
I'm alive

Some days gawk
Some days babble
When I sit here
In this saddle

I ride all day
And I get somewhere

And I stay someplace

And I stop to stare
At the frozen air
As it lurches past me
At it's fullest despair

And I feel a chill
Sweeping through my bone
When I realize
Days don't come alone

Like a million diamonds under a mound of gold
Like a feverish resident out in the freezing cold
Like a god of the heavens trapped down below

Yes we glitter
We glitter like emeralds in a pitchblack cave
We glitter like the hope that our great god gave
We glitter like the pavement with grafitti sprayed

Yes we glow
We glow like fireflies who just recently died
We glow like fireflies who were just recently fried
We glow like meteors when they can't collide

Because they have no force, no movement
No fury by which to abide
And save them
From our insufficient lifes

This poem does lack meaning
And realistic residue
It is quite hard believing
Because I should have been screaming

But it wasn't even bleeding

So now my foot thumps like a tuba

He stabbed me
Straight in the center of my worn yet pure heart
And tore me
Into a million pieces apart

They swarmed
Out from the hills that surrounded our little camp
And I walked into their cave
It was sour, dark, and damp with a stench of fungi

I can be a fun guy!
I told him, a bald bold leader
Drink, he commanded
And held out a large glass filled with cider

I drank it
And they all laughed unknowing of my friends furious wrath
And bore me
Away to where I would never see another day again
